Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven
Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain
Than I could ever be.
She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard
Then gave your hand to me.

Although you may not feel my touch
Or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you
While I wiped each tear you cried.

So please try not to ache for me
We'll meet again one day.
Beyond the dark and stormy sky
A rainbow lights the way.

Hi Shabs, gosh you were up early! Hope you are doing okay.

FrasersMummy - a soggy tissue is much appreciated nonetheless! Thank you for your kind words.

Keeping DD at home again today, managed to put on some washing first thing but am now collapsed on the sofa next to DD, plan to watch High School Musical 2 together this afternoon! My stomach feels like its tied it knots today, Woke up really early worrying about the baby that I hadn't felt it moving much, thankfully I have since, I guess its just the stress getting to me so am going to try and relax this afternoon and see if that helps!

Deemented · 23/03/2009 14:57

Deemented · 23/03/2009 18:45

Lottie - you're going to have to email me your email address so as i can find you - there are over 500 Charlotte Jenkins' on my network of fb alone....

lottiejenkins · 23/03/2009 20:01

Dee.............. if you wait till Shabs adds you im on her friends! Thats easier than giving my email out on here then having it deleted!

I went to the doctors today, we have a tiny satellite surgery in our village and the gp we saw wasnt our normal lovely gp, i told him quite bluntly that i was pissed off with the impetigo, he is prescribing chlorhexidine (hibiscrub) so Wilf can wash with it. It was so embarassing when we came out of the surgery, it is held in a medieval building with a narrow corridor, Wilf's big trick at the moment is hiding and leaping out and going BOO!! It loses its humour after the tenth time and he decided to do it in the corridor today, i heard him saying "Herro" when he went out and he hid so that when i went out he "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOED" me, i lost patience and said quite loudly "I'll bloody boo you!!" I then heard an intake of breath and turned round and saw my lovely friend with her 3 year old and 9 year old!! Much apologising followed and i grabbed Wilf by the scruff and marched him out..... It didnt end there five minutes after we got home the doorbell went and there stood the nine year old holding Wilfs box of nintendo games!! How much apologising can one do in one day? Mum took my landing curtains home to wash them and had to confess this afternoon that they fell apart in the washing machine. I was so proud of myself, i found a lovely pair of blue daisy curtains which Hayley my friend and I hung! Mum will have a nice surprise when she gets here tomorrow!!

Deemented · 23/03/2009 20:22

ROFLMAO at Wilf - he sounds like such a character!!!

Just added Shabs so shall find you soon too

lottiejenkins · 23/03/2009 20:39

Excellent news Dee! My little humour merchant will be heading off to bed soon i hope!!

shabster · 23/03/2009 21:59

Lottie!! xx

lottiejenkins · 23/03/2009 22:03

He may be in bed Shabs...that does not guarantee that he is asleep!

shabster · 23/03/2009 22:18

Tom was asleep before his head hit the pillow!!! He has found a sport that he likes and is good at!!! - They did a double lesson (approx 2 hours) of trampolining (sp?) today and he got 10 merits from the PE teacher! I bet the PE teacher couldnt believe his eyes - Tom is not very sporty - he loves his books, his computer and his films.

Deemented · 23/03/2009 22:28

Good on Tom!!! Now you know how to tire him out, Shabs - invest in a trampoline

shabster · 23/03/2009 22:44

We are in a terraced house that is big inside but with a small back yard - mind you will get the tape measure out tomorrow and see if we can fit one in!!! He is 12 at the end of July so maybe all the family could put our money together and get him a good one.

Would make a great picture - my washing out on the line and Tom trampolining through it!! OMG we will NEVER be posh will we?

shabster · 23/03/2009 23:21

Goodnight girls xx

I've just snorted my coffee through my nose at the thought of Tom trampolining through your washing line. And your typo didn't help either

Hazy - I always feel that way when I see men of the same age as Gareth and Matt - its hard - especially when I saw Matt's 'bestest' friend in town a while ago with his new baby......his friend did his best to hide from me and almost cried when I said how beautiful his new baby was
