Welcome to our santuary and haven ladies.

Many thanks for Frasersmummy for passing the baton onto Cole and I. I am touched and hope I can do all our lo's justice.

For any people wanting to join, don't be shy. We cry, we rant, we smile, we laugh - whatever we feel like we need to do.

Nothing to worry about FM

Something to do with nightime wakings and getting them back to sleep. Let me know if you would like to write the whole quote.

I think that whatever you write on MN belongs to MN. No doubt it's in the terms and conditions (you know, that box that everyone ticks but doesn't actually look at!!)

It says the quote, then the posting name.

I've noticed recently a frasersmummy123. I nearly waved hello thinking it was you

frasersmummy · 08/02/2009 19:21

Thanks Ilike if its the one I think it is I shamelessly stole it from another toddler book ...

we have avoided the snow till tonight .. its coming down hard and looking very pretty outside

I'm guessing I wont find it as pretty when I have to drive to work in it in the morning

What happened to MN???? It's soooo different!!

Just thought I'd let you all know that Kyrrie Marcy was born by elective section on 21st Jan.

All did not go well and we have been at thr Royal London Hospital for the last 2.5 weeks.

Shortly after her birth it was discovered that Kyirrie had a right sided diaphramatic hernia whereby her liver and part of her intestines were in her chest cavity, which had also prevented her right lung developing correctly.

We were transferred toLondon the day after she was born where they spent 4 days stabilising her ready for surgery - which we wwere told (just before having to sign the consent form) carries a 30-40% mortaility rate.

I do not have time now to go through all the horrific ups and downs of the last couple of weeks but I'm sure you can all imagine being given statistics like these......

Anyway, despite the timescales and expectations we were given, Kyirrie has proven herself to be an unbelievably strong, feisty character and has today been transferred back to our local hospital, hence me finally having access to a PC!

So, please think of my littlest lady and will her some extra strenght - she's done great but a bit of extra thought, prayer and encouragement can't go amiss.

Lots of love to you all. x

shabster · 08/02/2009 23:25

OMG Feedmenow - just OMG - sending my love, hugs, kisses, and welcome to the world to your precious new daughter. Cant imagine what you have been going through. I have sent 'search parties' looking for you. I am so very excited....sounds like your new lady is an absolute fighter. Just feel overwhelmed by your news.

Without you and your precious Eris none of us would have a thread to go to - none of us would have somewhere to say the weird words that go around in our heads.

Kyirrie - welcome to the mad house darling....so glad you arrived....so excited to see your name - which is beautiful by the way. Well done Mummy and Daddy FMN and your brother and sister.....and never, ever forgetting Eris - your big sister who made it all possible for all your new 'aunties' to make life long friends.

Such wonderful news

chegirl · 08/02/2009 23:34

Feedmeknow - I hope its ok for a lurker like me to send my congratulations and my prayers for your dear little girl.

Wishing you all the best.

chegirl · 08/02/2009 23:37

Shabster - Happy 8 mths birthday to your little man. These things still catch us unawares.

I recently had one of 'those' birthdays. DS1 became older than my Billie. He had his 15th.

shabster · 08/02/2009 23:46

chegirl - Hiya darling

shabster · 08/02/2009 23:48

chegirl - you are not just a 'lurker' you are one of the mums on OUR THREAD. Those 'special' birthdays are very hard to cope with arent they? When Tommy was 8 years old I realised that out of four sons he was only the second child I had raised beyond the age of 7.

shabster · 08/02/2009 23:53

For Miss Kyirrie

So glad to have you here - keep fighting baby

chegirl · 08/02/2009 23:59

Awww

I AM a bit of a lurker. I always keep an eye on you guys, I just dont always have the words.

Mind you, sometimes I have too many!

Love and strength to you all tonight x

shabster · 09/02/2009 00:08

Thanks chegirl - please dont lurk - write down your thoughts - they are important. We need to all stick together sweetheart xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

shabster · 09/02/2009 07:07

Good morning my darlings xxx

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 09/02/2009 07:39

Morning

Welcome to the world Kyirrie. I am so so chuffed for you FMN. Sorry to hear about the troubles you've been experiencing. You really would have thought that you'd already been dealt enough bad luck. But, you and your family are strong and will get through this. Keep fighting and stay strong. You WILL get through this. You WILL be bringing Kyirrie home.

All of my strength, healing and fighting vibes are being sent Kyirrie's way.

lighthouse - we need a progress report from you and your bump. How are you doing? Even though you have unanswered questions from the PM, I hope you are still able to enjoy your pregnancy.
