Welcome to our santuary and haven ladies.

Many thanks for Frasersmummy for passing the baton onto Cole and I. I am touched and hope I can do all our lo's justice.

For any people wanting to join, don't be shy. We cry, we rant, we smile, we laugh - whatever we feel like we need to do.

Hiya Everlong....good to see you....glad you made it through the fog to come and visit

If I suddenly dissapear dont worry the computer has its own life and we are struggling with it at the moment. Hopefully Danny will come and wave his magic wand!!

FMN?? - nobody has heard from her Everlong.Has anybody got contact details for her at all?

I love your tattoo - I would love one.

OK girls - going to clear the decks for Danny and his computer wizard friend Mark to try and sort things out....great to see you Everlong. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh yes Tom really, really loved the play. He said the actor who does all the play was fantastic. Said he had to stop himself from crying most of the time He has given the play rave reviews.

shabster · 07/02/2009 19:07

I meant that Tom had to stop himself from crying...if anyone finds my brains anywhere will they hand them in please - DOH!

frasersmummy · 07/02/2009 21:35

evening all....

I like the idea of the tatoo everlong.. but I'm too chicken.. guess I'll have to stick with my sands wristband

I was clearing out our filing system earlier and found the lair certificate we bought for the cemetary and was thinking God what an odd thing to have had to buy at this stage in life..

i cant really explain it but its like just another thing that marks me as different to all my friends and that makes me feel odd iyswim

This guy needs his bungalow.............

shabster · 07/02/2009 21:56

Well, we still have a 'dodgy' computer! Little bubble keeps coming up and telling us 'Your computer is infected. Start spyware cleaner tool????' It keeps turning itself off.....Dan (the computer wizard) is coming back tomorrow to try and finish the job he started tonight.

FMammy - we will always be different sweetheart. We are more compassionate, more understanding, more concerned, more loving, more weepy, more everything......we are just US - we will all make it through. All for one and one for all xxxx

Lilyloo · 07/02/2009 22:08

Sorry to but in but just wondering if FMN still around and if baby has arrived ??

shabster · 07/02/2009 22:11

Lilyloo - none of us know if bubs has arrived but we all think the great event has happened

She was so worried and anxious about babys arrival.....completly understandable I reckon.

Will keep trying to find out xxx

Lilyloo · 07/02/2009 22:29

Sorry to intrude...

Good result for ds today , my ds went was very happy!!

shabster · 07/02/2009 22:38

Ha Ha - great result

You are not intruding love. I dont think FMN has a CAT thingymebob on Mumsnet and I dont have an address, or email address or anything for her. I even asked Mumsnet HQ last week to try and find out for me!!! As they said 'they are not Big Brother and cant find out' LOL.

Lilyloo · 07/02/2009 22:42

Will keep checking by then in case you find anything i hope she finding lo too much of a handful to get on here to let you all know!!

Been a City fan for many, many years and they never fail to amaze me xxxx

Lilyloo · 07/02/2009 22:48

Thanks Shabs and glad to see you reverted back to old name!
Yeah i was branded as a kid and had to inflict it on my offspring

shabster · 07/02/2009 22:55

Snap!!! So did I!!

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 08/02/2009 08:18

Hi everlong, I've been thinking about you, it's nice to see you again. Big hugs to you. The violent swings from up to down are so difficult in the early days.

I'm glad the move went ok Dee . It's such a big change so soon, you are one strong lady - even if you'd rather not be at times.

Frasersmummy - Having lost Cole I do feel set apart from others, and I seem to feel it more keenly as time passes. As much as I love my friends and family, I feel a distance from them. Almost like I'm a different species from them as they haven't suffered the kind of loss that I have. I know that all sounds a bit melodramatic, but I can't express it any other way.

On a happier note, did you know that you are quoted in the MN Toddler book? You're famous!

I don't have any contact details for FMN either.

Good morning girls. I fear that this computer is running with the same kind of attitude I have - cant be -arsed-- bothered!! Dan and his friend are going along the route that it needs 'stripping down and starting again!!!' Oh what joy

shabster · 08/02/2009 09:10

arsed even

shabster · 08/02/2009 09:47

Oh my word girls, Lewis is 8 months old today. Have just realised why both myself and Dan kept having a small silent tear last night. You see we have (Dan and I) been worrying and fretting the whole time he was 7 months. Dans twin brother Gareth died when he was 7 months and Matthew was killed when he was 7. I know that I can only post these thoughts on our thread - if I put them anywhere else they would cart me off to nut house.

Happy, Happy 8 month birthday Lewis Daniel

lottiejenkins · 08/02/2009 11:21

Hi all. Wilfs gone over to Antonia's or as he calls her either "Amonia" or "Annnnnnnooooonnnnnia" Im making Lamb hotpot for lunch!
Happy 8 months old Lewis!

travellingwilbury · 08/02/2009 11:28

Happy 8 months to Lewis

I was the same when mine got past 14 mths , bitter sweet as it meant my youngest was the older brother of his older brother (iyswim) but a good day over all .

Not many places I can say someone is the older brother of his older brother and it will be understood .

Everlong , its good to see you , that foggy stuff is a bugger isn't it ? The times in the fog will lessen I promise .

shabster · 08/02/2009 11:34

xxxxxx

shabster · 08/02/2009 11:36

Lottie hope Wilf has a fab time at Amonias ROFL

lottiejenkins · 08/02/2009 11:40

It gets better when he goes out to the supermarket with Mum and I.....When he cant find Mum he goes up and down the aisles shouting " Graggy" in top voice. The other day he kept telling everyone "This my Graggy" In the end Mum turned round and said "Wilfred darling the whole supermarket knows i'm your Granny..............."

frasersmummy · 08/02/2009 16:57

another milestone eh shabs??
