Welcome to our santuary and haven ladies.

Many thanks for Frasersmummy for passing the baton onto Cole and I. I am touched and hope I can do all our lo's justice.

For any people wanting to join, don't be shy. We cry, we rant, we smile, we laugh - whatever we feel like we need to do.

That must have been tough . I would have been gutted but I can completely see where he is coming from . We have all done it at different points to make our day a bit easier . I know I have . Sometimes I can cope with explaining and other times I just nod and say two children rather than three .

You should be really proud that he feels he could say no mum not this time . It proves how close you both are and well done you for not having a strop about it . I would have wanted to

I had a quiet bang about in the kitchen!! When Tom wanted to learn how to ride a bike I couldnt cope with it. I asked my neighbour to teach him and I sat in the living room not daring to watch. (Matt was on his bike when the lorry reversed) He came in and said 'Did you see how brilliant I did Mum?' I started to cry and said 'Im so frightened after what happened to Matt.'

His reply, at the grand age of 5??? 'My name is Thomas William not Matthew John - he was very, very silly to ride on the road - Im not going to do that!!' Considered myself told off!!!

travellingwilbury · 05/02/2009 07:59

That told you then !

It is a hard balancing act isn't it ? I want them to know all about Harry and to feel included but I don't want him to always overshadow them . Its a tricky old business though .

frasersmummy · 05/02/2009 08:59

morning girls..

at your Tom shabs.. wonder where he gets his feisty streak from.?? I would have been mega upset at the family tree thing..

TW I know exactly what you mean. I used to think there was no harm in looking through my memory box (there isof course precious little in it ) and listening to frasers music and having a good bubble while ross was busy playing.

If he asked I would say mummy is sad co Fraser isnt here any more but she is happy that you are.. you make me smile

I thought it was a good plan till I asked him one day who's mummy's special little boy and he replied Fraser !!

its another one of those things that people who are not on this crappy journey dont think about...sorry dont have answers

Wilfred understands about Jack he asks questions and I tell him what i can, he liked the idea of putting a birthday card on Jacks grave in December. I spoke to my Aunt Jan last night(Jack is buried in our family plot near my late Uncle) and asked if she noticed Jacks new brass plaque and she said how smart it was!

lottiejenkins · 05/02/2009 16:27

Hello folks,

Sorry i've not been around much of late - just feeling a bit... meh... yunno? Boyo asked for bunk beds in his room yesterday, so that he could have friends to stay over. I had to say no as the thought of an empty bunk in his room just does me in. Sigh. Doesn't get easier really, does it?

On the plus side today i hit the shops - and spent enough money to pay off the debt of a small country a lot but bought loads for the new house. I even treated myself - they have a closing down sale in Littlewoods Clearence outlet and i got seven new tops and a skirt for just £13.50!!

Hope everyone is ok - love to all x

Good night my loves....xxxxx

lottiejenkins · 07/02/2009 09:26

Morning all..........Have just had to trundle to my best mates house in my nightie, long coat and bare legs to wake her up! She didnt answer either phone at 9am and we are all going out! Wilf was not happy with Mummy going out like that!!

shabster · 07/02/2009 10:19

Ha Ha Ha Ha Lottie - I just woke up!!!! OMG thats unheard of! Getting Tom ready in a little while - 14 pupils are going to the Lowry Theatre to watch Michael Morpurgo's 'Private Peaceful.' They have been reading his books in class. A snip of a trip at just £13.00!!!!!

The Lowry Theatre is very close to Manchester Uniteds ground but he is insisting on wearing his Manchester City top and Manchester City coat THATS MY BOY!!

He know needs to be woken up, fed, showered, dressed etc etc before 12! He wants to grow his hair like the Hollyoaks lads so he is inbetween length at the moment. It makes me giggle because my other boys all wanted short and spikey. Better go and try getting him out of his pit!
