Welcome to our santuary and haven ladies.

Many thanks for Frasersmummy for passing the baton onto Cole and I. I am touched and hope I can do all our lo's justice.

Morning all.

Dee, If you find a cure for a baby who keeps waking up in the night, please pass it on I hope things get better for you soon.

And no I haven't heard from the LighthouseKeeper. I hope Wilf feels better soon. I remember I picked up every bug going at Wilf's age.

Shabs, I hope Tom's cough gets better soon. Having a cough for that long can really get you down can't it.

lottiejenkins · 22/01/2009 23:31

Hi all, have just got in. I had a lovely evening till i got into the pub.... Wilfs in the medical centre again with an upset tummy. Then just before i left i heard that a lady i used to look after when i was a carer had died...........it all happens at once doesnt it!

shabster · 22/01/2009 23:34

Hope Wilf soon feels better. about your news. I hope you dont mind me asking Lottie - what do you mean when you say Mummy2??

lottiejenkins · 22/01/2009 23:40

Mummy2 is Sandra who is his Link mother. Link care is something that Social Services advertise, we had Link Mum and Dad till Dad died tragically 18 months ago Its great for Wilf as he now calls Sandras children Ross and Ruth "special brother and sister" and he has two "special nephews" Cameron and Dominic
and a "special niece" Ruby Jean.

shabster · 22/01/2009 23:41

Hello all,

I keep losing you all! Just dropping in to say hello to you and your beloved children.

Just had Billie's 17th birthday. I cannot believe she wouldve been 17, my little girl. MY DS1 just turned 15 which was a toughy for us all as it THAT birthday when he became older than his sister.

I wish you all so much. I always get a lovely, warm welcome here even though I only pop in everyso often.

Maybe my new years ressy should be to catch up more often. Dec/Jan toughies for us. Lets hope the year picks up.

Love to all.

shabster · 23/01/2009 07:08

Morning girls.

chegirl - good to see you. Its so hard when a 'surviving' child is older than your child who has died. So hard. Brings loads more 'what could have been' moments. Keep posting - we miss you xx

hazygirl · 23/01/2009 07:28

Hi Chegirl peeked a look at your profile your daughter looks beautiful, so sorry. Birthdays are realy hard aren't they.

Tis the season of germs methinks, hope everyone and their families are feeling better soon.

lottiejenkins · 23/01/2009 13:44

Blood test results still not in!! The doctor at school is going to chase them up and if i dont hear this afternoon it will be after the weekend now! !

lottiejenkins · 23/01/2009 17:25

Well i havent heard anything!! I so wanted to know the results so i wasnt stewing over the weekend! Hazy i see Wilf was chatting to you on Facebook.........I hope he didnt drive you round the bend!!

Thelighthousekeeper · 23/01/2009 21:52

Hi Everyone, sorry not been around lately.

Lottie- thanks for your message. I'm guessing you've still not got Wilfs results. Hope he's okay. Glad you had a good time at Disney. DD loved it when we went. Would love to go back.

Things have been rather stressful here lately. I was rather worried/nervous about my 20 week scan but thankfully all seems okay which was wonderful news. Still can't get my head round the fact that the baby is due on Noahs Remember Day. Also we now have a date for his inquest - the 3rd Feb so have been rather anxious about that.

Anyway am trying to be more positive and will try and post more often - I have been missing my Mumsnet friends! Anyway hope you all have a good weekend. x

frasersmummy · 23/01/2009 22:38

hi girls

I have been lurking for a few days but have been having a wobble and cant seem to find the right words to post

lottie I hope wilf just has a bug and makes a full recovery

I am thinking of you all..

take care my friends .. I am still here

chegirl · 23/01/2009 23:05

Watching and reading and holding you all. Hope that doesnt sound corny. I hate the way that despite having the worse thing every happen to us, more stuff keeps happening. None of you should have to worry about anything every again. Its not fair.

Billie's little bro just turned 1. So bittersweet, everything is now though. He just couldnt look more like her. Its eerie. It was such a long time ago she was that age - 16 years. Its like a punch in the face sometimes when I catch a sight of him in a certain pose/angle (a nice punch though IYSWIM)

Its impossible for me to catch up with all that has happened since I last logged on so I will wish you good things from this day on.

frasersmummy · 23/01/2009 23:15

chegirl it is odd watching a younger sibling grow up isnt it ?

Ross is almost exactly a year younger than his big brother and each new milestone does feel happy and sad all at once

shabster · 24/01/2009 01:36

Lighthouse - Hiya love!! Hiya girls - wanted Terry to win Big Brother - only cause he is a Manc like me!!! Lighthouse - due on remember day.......My DS4 was like that. He was 20 days late!!!! I was almost 41. He missed DS3's birthday....DTS remember day...my Dads birthday!!!! He just arrived on his day...on his birthday...on the right day. It often makes me wonder what goes on in heaven..what is plotted and planned
