Welcome to our santuary and haven ladies.

Many thanks for Frasersmummy for passing the baton onto Cole and I. I am touched and hope I can do all our lo's justice.

For any people wanting to join, don't be shy. We cry, we rant, we smile, we laugh - whatever we feel like we need to do.

Shabster - i saw your post about the quote from the book that your pen friend sent you, then the poem you shared, and i couldn't see thr keyboard through my tears to post a reply. I had to log off, and it's been on my mind most of the day - but in a good way - and i just wanted to say thank you.

Deemented · 15/01/2009 21:14

Sending thoughts Triplets way from here too.

shabster · 15/01/2009 23:37

Dee - I put the quote from the book on especially for you. You did a great job putting the few fools right on Hazys thread.

Triplets DH is back on an ordinary ward. she is home....one of her RL playground friends and a MNetter has took her food and drink....angels walk amongst us my friends.

They have given Trips DH a 100% chance of survival but I think it will be a long road. Thank you all for your support.....it is so important. xxx

Ooooohhh a tiny white feather has just landed on the computer desk maybe sent from a couple of little boys I know???

lottiejenkins · 16/01/2009 11:13

My Mum has been here a lot of this week decorating for me, she wont let me get involved and with my dyspraxia its probably wise!
Thankfully she has taken the paint away with her too, i still come out in a cold sweat when i remember Wilf undoing the paint tins in the garden four years ago...............
He was playing in the front garden and i had two plastic containers of cornflower blue paint by the front door, they were the ones that are like a paracetemol tub where you rip the tab off the side, i was sat listening to Desert Island Discs and the next thing i knew there was a bang on the window and Wilf was looking worried and beckoning me.........when i got out there i screamed! He had undone a tin of paint and WALKED IT UP AND DOWN MY TWO FRONT PATHS!!!
I was so so so angry........I was shouting and shouting and shouting,,,,,,,, the next thing i knew my neighbour (whos son has special needs) was leaning on the gate asking why i was shouting.... Now I hardly ever use the "f" word but i let fly and said that if she looked in my f...ing garden she could see what the f........ing problem was!
She was such a good neighbour she got me to ring her other son and he came round with the pressure washer and got it all off then put Wilf in his van and took him for a spin round the village! I put a bottle of wine in the cab of the van when i got back and he was furious with me. I said I didnt care and that he deserved it!! Its a wonder my hair isnt white!

This song is a current favourite of mine, it is being played on Radio 2 a lot.

Sorry Lottie but that made me PMSL

When we were little I remember a friend of my mums was doing her house up and she had ordered a new 3 piece , well when it got there she wasn't sure about the colour and was wondering wether to swap it . Her little girl who must have been about 3 or 4 at the time tipped a whole tin of gloss paint on to it while mum was hanging out the washing .

When the mum came back the little one was just stood there with a big grin on her face thinking she had done mummy a wonderful favour

Everlong , I am glad your dr sounds like a good one . I went for cbt but it probably was a good yr after Harry . I found it really helpful . It hurts but it was a good hurt if that makes sense .

I too get the odd white feather and they always make me smile

lottiejenkins · 16/01/2009 13:48

Am glad I have made you smile!

lottiejenkins · 16/01/2009 17:23
