ooh snow.. was forecast here but never happened

fmn I think everyone around you has to realise that your hormones didnt exactly have a chance to stabilise after Eris when you got another batch for this pregnancy...

so not only should they be helping out in general by doing stuff like evening meals but they should be pampering you a bit

i am picking myself up again.. shabs how about you ??

anyone heard from tiasmummy.. as we all know right after the funeral people stop asking and stuff.. I cant stop wondering if she is coping with the quiet

snow was forecast here but none so far.. cold and crisp and nice

hugs to everybody

shabster · 28/10/2008 18:55

Think there is a lot more going on with Tiasmummy - she has started another thread in the relationships section.

Speak later my loves. xx

Thelighthousekeeper · 28/10/2008 21:03

Shoshe, wasn't on yesterday but thinking of Marcus today. x

Hazy, sorry to hear about your dog. So hard to lose such a big part of your family. And your poor other dog must miss him terribly.....

FM, Shabs, how are you both feeling today?

We had snow here last night. The children love t don't they? Even though there isn't enough to actually do anything with

ILikeToScareYouScareYou · 29/10/2008 13:50

Shoshe- thinking of you and Marcus today. I doesn't matter how long ago it was, annivesarrys are always difficult xxx

Hazy - so sorr to hear about your dog.

frasersmummy · 29/10/2008 17:32

hazy .. I am really sorry about your dog.. its like losing a member of the family isnt it

I am feeling a lot better fmn thanks for asking .. as the years go on I find I bounce back from my low points quicker and quicker.. dont have the weeks of darkness Iused to have

oh god lottie.. you are having a time of it .. how is the house.. are you back home yet. What caused the m/wave to blow up?

we were at the soft play today.. was brilliant .. dad bought me lunch and we sat and nattered while Ross ran about for 2.5 hours coming back long enough to say I want a drink or how do i get to that blue chute

hugs to everyone

ShosheTheGhoshe · 29/10/2008 18:46

Thanks girls, i have been divorced from Marcus's Father since 1981, and have nothing to do with him, so there is only me to remember him.

I have the 17th birth and death of my daughter Chynna coming up on 12th December as well, and the 17th anniversary of mu Moms death on 11th November so this time of year is full of memories.

hazygirl · 29/10/2008 19:42

shoshe so sorry ,big hugs to you ,
lots of things going wrong atm for you lottie surely only good things now.

feedmenow · 29/10/2008 21:26

Shoshe, so am I understanding correctly that you have lost a son and a daughter? Sounds like you must have an awful time of it in the lead up to Christmas

FM, glad you are feeling better.

ShosheTheGhoshe · 29/10/2008 21:49

Yes feedmenow, all my children were very prem, DS1 who is now 30 was 6 weeks early but a big baby at 6lb 4oz so survived although was in SCBU for along time, DS2 was 10 weeks early and also had spina bifida, DD was 12 weeks early and back then the chance of survival that early wasnt good.

frasersmummy · 29/10/2008 22:14

oh shoshe as all these rememer days (as we say on here) approach you must be feeling pretty crappy

stick with us .. we are all at different stages along this crappy road .. but we all support each other as best we can

frasersmummy · 29/10/2008 22:18

I have just seen this on the bbc website

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7695909.stm

its nice to see people have their stillborn babies recognised even in a small way

I personally think its one of the last taboos in our society

lottiejenkins · 29/10/2008 22:25

Am back in the house after a fashion.......... parts of the floor arent safe! My best friend managed to put her stiletto put the floor last saturday night! I have to go up and down to the bathroom for hot water to wash up! Lottie and Wilf instead of Jack and Jill!! As to the microwave going kaput.......i dont know why!

ShosheTheGhoshe · 29/10/2008 22:26

FM, you never forget but time does lesson the pain, I always remember and think of them on those days, but am not religious at all, so don't pray, but hold them in my thoughts.

lottiejenkins · 29/10/2008 22:28

through the floor that should read... have had a very large destressing whisky this evening! Shabs where are you today???????

OP posts:
shabster · 29/10/2008 22:43

Im here Lottie - just lurking!!! Shoshe - time does heal doesn't it? Although I think older grief can really jump up and bite you on the bum when you least expect it.

xxx
