My toddler died today

My baby died today. I found him in his cot this morning. He was completely well yesterday and has no health problems. They are completing a post mortem today.
I don’t know what to do. Why would a healthy child just die? I have a 4 year old and don’t know how to handle it with him. Any advice welcome, I’m obviously a mixture of completely numb and a mess.

I’m so so sorry for your loss.

This happened to our 15 months old niece a couple of years ago. Please be kind to yourselves. We found the Lullaby trust totally invaluable.

My advice would be that when you speak to anyone such a coroner, Dr’s etc have someone with you that isn’t direct family as I will guarantee that you will forget what they say and it’s good to have someone you can ask for clarity.

Life can be so fucking cruel, I have no advice, I'm sorry. Sending love and warm hugs, and all the strength in the world. But it's also ok to have no strength, there is no right or wrong. Be kind to yourself xx

I don’t know what to say. This is heartbreaking. Life is so cruel.
This is such a horrendous thing to happen and I can’t imagine what you’re going through.
