My beautiful baby

That's it really. Heading to hospital this morning to have my baby girl induced. Her heartbeat stopped somewhere between Sunday night and Monday morning at 27 weeks and I just can't bear it. She was our joy and our sunshine after two miscarriages and now I have to say goodbye to her today and I just don't know where I am going to find the strength.

I'm so, so sorry. Hopefully someone will be along in a minute with more helpful words who knows more about what you are going through. Just want to send you a hand hold and hugs.

Yes ic there will be a cuddle cot and a memory box and we have some stuff packed for her. It just all feels so surreal. Thanks for the kind words and thoughts.

Oh God help you. What an utterly unbearable loss. I'm so sorry. Similar happened to my cousin though I think she was further on and I cried my eyes out as it was her first pregnancy and first baby. I don't think I could cope at all. My cousin now has 4 more children and seems to be relatively happy. Nobody mentions her first baby really because we're afraid of upsetting her by bringing it up or mentioning her. Their baby is buried beside our grandmother and wrapped in my grandmother's shawl. I know they go to her grave often. It's so tragic.

We are thinking of calling her Eilidh Nora but we are going to wait and see her to make it definite.

My heart breaks to read this. What a horrible thing to happen to you and your family. But you especially. Will be thinking of you today, and probably for a long while after.

That's beautiful. Thoughts are with you and your family. It is going to be an extremely dark time. I know family and friends who have been through the same experience found the charity SANDS to be a huge support.
