TERRIBLE NEWS FROM YORKIEGIRL

tillykins · 10/08/2006 03:25

Yorkiegirl has phoned me from holiday in Portugal; her husband Nigel has collapsed and died tonight.
She thinks it was a stroke or heart attack.
The authorities are trying to get hold of her parents - they are also in Portugal
Fortunately, neither of her DDs saw anything
I don't know much more than that but will post if I have anything else

It certainly puts any other problems we may be experiencing (both as individuals and as a website) into perspective.

You sound like you are begin really strong Yorkiegirl. Remember to lean on us when you need to. {{{{{{}}}}}}}

Yorkie- you sound so brave. I hope you are able to let some of the emotions out and don't feel that you have to hold everything in. I hope you have people you love near at all times. Best wishes xx

My dad died of a massive heart attack at a similar age (he was 42, I was 18) - it was very sudden - so quick he would not have been very aware of what happened. In an odd way that was and is one of the most comforting things about it. A very small silver lining in a very dark cloud .

yorkiegirl just wanted you to know that thoughts and prayers are with you and girls. Like the others have said cry, because with the crying comes the healing. Lo's will be confused and not fully understand but if they see its ok to be upset then they will be able to grieve too. Just so, so sorry. Big hugs honey

moretenaanyone · 14/08/2006 23:37
