TERRIBLE NEWS FROM YORKIEGIRL

Yorkiegirl has phoned me from holiday in Portugal; her husband Nigel has collapsed and died tonight.
She thinks it was a stroke or heart attack.
The authorities are trying to get hold of her parents - they are also in Portugal
Fortunately, neither of her DDs saw anything
I don't know much more than that but will post if I have anything else

Oh this is terrible - it must have been such a shock. So sad . My thoughts and prayers are with YG and family.

Dear YG. Your thoughts are with me - it won't be the first time I've heard of a young, fit father having a stroke, but I guess that's of no consolation at the moment. They were on holiday too

What can we all do to help you? Where are you, in the UK?

What terrible news. Awful at the best of times, but when abroad the whole dreadfulness is just compounded.

I'm sure she will appreciate everyone's messages of support.
Nigel has been moved to the morgue
The girls are both awake now so she will be telling them, she said she will explain to them that Daddy has gone to Heaven and is a star in the sky
She sounds remarkably calm at the moment
