everything hurts, I cant close my eyes without seeing it happening
he collapsed at home
I did chest compressions till the ambulance came
they tried for ages but he was gone
I cant stop seeing it
my arms hurt, my heart hurts
I'm exhausted
I cant do this again

silly sod, he was just joking a couple pf days ago that hes panicking about doing it right and he should get on with it

he knew I wanted a proper proposal but all I meant was heartfelt words and maybe down on one knee

I want to wear it now

Can you take comfort from the fact that you really, truly did everything anybody could be expected to do to help him?

Do you know where he kept it? Could you perhaps find it and wear it, do you think it could give you a little comfort.
