I cant help it, I need you lot, dp died yesterday, I cant stop seeing it, it hurts so much

everything hurts, I cant close my eyes without seeing it happening
he collapsed at home
I did chest compressions till the ambulance came
they tried for ages but he was gone
I cant stop seeing it
my arms hurt, my heart hurts
I'm exhausted
I cant do this again

Oh my god I nearly threw up when I read this and clocked that it wasn't an old post. Trinity I'm so sorry. Offering hands to hold, arms to hug and anything else that might make you feel like you aren't alone

Oh you poor thing

There are no words that are going to help much at the moment

Your Dp must have been a wonderful man your pain must feel all consuming

We will hold your hand but remember you may need help to get past the first few days and the physical shock it might be worth calling you ooh they should be help if you feel like it might be a good idea

It sound rediculius but time does help you will in time be able to remember your woderful husband and not relive the last few moments of his life

There is no right of wrong for your emotions at the moment if you need to scream and punch the wall then do it if you need to cry then do if all you can manage is sit on the sofa then that is right too

Oh Trinity, I can't believe it. There are no words. How amazing you are for keeping your head and giving him chest compressions. You did everything there was to do.

It is so wrong that you are going through this again :(

It's normal IME to keep seeing the moment when you've watched a loved one die. It will fade, but for now just know that it is normal, if horrible.

Trinity so sorry to hear about your loss. I also thought this was a zombie thread and then clocked the date and thought oh no, how much can one person take.

Trinity you are strong, you can go on, you have a lovely family to help you through this. Keep posting, you know (unfortunately from experience) that there is someone here at all times who can offer practical support and an emotional crutch.
