"Small was feeling grim and dark. He was playing toss and fling and bang and crash. Break and snap and bash and batter. Small said ?I?m a grim and grumpy little small and nobody loves me at all?. ?Oh Small,? said Large. ?Grumpy or not, I?ll always love you no matter what.?

Small said, ?If I was a grizzly bear would you still love me would you still care?? ?Of course,? said Large ?bear or not, I?ll always love you no matter what.?

Small said ?But if I turned into a bug, would you still love me and give me a hug?? ?Of course,? said Large ?bug or not, I?ll always love you no matter what.?

?No matter what?? said Small, and smiled, ?What if I was a crocodile?? Large said ?I?d hug you close and hold you tight and tuck you up in bed at night?.
?Does love wear out? said Small, ?does it break or bend? Can you fix it, stick it, does it mend?? ?Oh help,? said Large ?I?m not that clever I just know I?ll love you forever?.

Small said ?but what about when you?re dead and gone, would you love me then, does love go on?? Large held Small snug as they looked out at the night, at the moon in the dark and the stars shining bright.

?Small look at the stars ? how they shine and glow, but some of those stars died a long time ago. Still they shine in the evening skies. Love, like starlight, never dies?.

NO MATTER WHAT by Debi Gliori

Missing my beautiful Belle, a year to the day we placed her to bed in her garden. Mummy and Daddy love you, always. To the moon and back xxx

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 14/10/2011 08:45

Hurrah hurrah, I take it Xander is here.

Big big congratulations to Caz and here dh. I felt very blue this morning but that news has cheered me up.

CheeseandGherkins · 14/10/2011 09:41

Morning all. Back to fracture clinic today as poor ds2 still can't put weight on his foot :( he seems in a lot of pain and I hate seeing it, he's only 4.

Great news about Caz, just checked fb. Have another lady on here having her rainbow baby just next week I believe and lots more to come so hopefully we'll all be in the same position soon.

dee I've just added you also :) hope that's ok

WTW I'm not sure what they do here but I will look, it's lovely that Katie is putting the star on the tree. It is really difficult and the past couple of days have been really up and down, I'm terrified of losing this baby too.

Whatevertheweather · 14/10/2011 09:47

shabbapinkfrog · 14/10/2011 19:32

Lew had his first ever haircut today - he is almost 3 and a half!!! The barber has cut loooooooooooooads off but its still very curly. They were told to take him each month and he will 'rein the curls in a bit!!' LOL - his picture is on my profile

janedoe25 · 14/10/2011 19:42

Oh shabs I love Lew's curls, so cute!

I am really really properly pleased and I need to be added on FB Grin

How is Lew getting on at nursery Shabs ? I bet you are missing him (and enjoying the peace all at the same time )

FeedDeeTilIWantNoMore · 14/10/2011 20:40

Yes, it's me!

Aw, he's gorgeous, Shabbs. My Tate has really curly hair too, and i'm absolutely loathe to cut it.

frasersmummy · 14/10/2011 21:32

right girls I am off to the peace and quiet of the borders tomorrow

Mum is doing well but will in all reality be in hosp till I get back so if there is an issue at least I know she is in the right place for help.. so thats a relief

I know its selfish but I am looking forward to a week away from hsops and running from school to karate, to footie to bb etc

I hope we all find some peace this week and even find something to smile about ... I guess caz wont have far to look Grin

shellylou I havent seen you around for a while but if you are lurking I will be thinking of you on the 19th

take care all speak to you in a week

CheeseandGherkins · 14/10/2011 21:57

It's been a tiring day, spent a while at the hospital with ds2 and he's now back in his cast for another 3 weeks. He was in too much pain on his foot so he managed 2 days out of the cast and now he has another 3 weeks again to go. He got a muffin out of it at the hospital too and was quite happy with that, had a photo on fb earlier.

I feel a bit better today having been busy, so that's good at least and finally managed to update my blog! Maybe that's why I feel better thinking about it as it really helped before when I was doing it more often. Hmm.

Hope everyone's having a good evening x

shabs how adorable :) My dh has curly hair so maybe our little one will have too

fm enjoy your break, you definitely deserve it. Hope your Mum is ok in hospital now, glad she's getting what she needs.

lavandes · 14/10/2011 23:34
