Congratulations!

I have a DD not a DS, but had she been born a he, name was to be Oliver Joseph.

Washersaurus · 03/05/2007 21:35

Dylan Arthur

BrummieMomInMerthyr · 03/05/2007 21:36

congrats! My ds is Dylan

CountTo10 · 03/05/2007 21:36

Oooo exciting!!

We chose Joshua Jagger for ours - Joshua as I have always loved the name - its strong and traditional without sounding like it. Jagger as my dp is a massive Stones fan - he wanted it for a first name and i said nooooo!!!!

We also thought about Samuel and I liked Jude and Dylan.

Emrys John

mollymawk · 03/05/2007 21:39

Have Joseph. I wanted that for both my sons but we couldn't agree on it. I still love it though.

PiusIX · 03/05/2007 21:39

Wife expecting twin boys here.

William and Thomas probably.

Or, as the Catholic schools round here are the best, possibly Xavier and Ignatius...

yogimum · 03/05/2007 21:45

My ds 9 months is Henry George which my husband chose. I really liked Freddie and Rupert.

MamanFlo · 03/05/2007 21:47

wow so many replys already ! it's cool

I forget to mention a little twist : the name must sound ok in french and in english

so far my eye caught Thomas (ohhh so classic but sounding great in both languages ) and Archie

I welcome all other ideas

Ds is Toby (everyone says "I know a dog called Toby" I see it as a compliment!)
If DD had been a ds, she would have been Edward, shortened to Ned
Congrats by the way!

lucy5 · 03/05/2007 21:48

Congratulations! My ds is Leo.

lucykate · 03/05/2007 21:49

daniel
joseph
luke

also liked

leo
lucas
seth
elliot
owen

fireflyfairy2 · 03/05/2007 21:51

Noah
Matthew
Lennon

All lovely names

Washersaurus · 03/05/2007 21:55

I'm thinking of 'George' for my next one (obv that is if my bump turns out to be another boy )

daisyhun · 03/05/2007 22:01

Spike... if our DD had been a DS

[don't snigger - we didn't tell anyone for fear of raucous laughter]....

Bubblemummy · 03/05/2007 22:01

We called our DS Sebastian, which also sounds good in french

tortoise · 03/05/2007 22:03

I have ds1 Oliver and ds2 Zachary.

PiusIX · 03/05/2007 22:03

If you want the name to sound good in French, don't call him "Sean Connery"

lucy5 · 03/05/2007 22:03

My leo , is pronounced leeoh in English and Layo in Spanish {where we live]

lyrabelacqua · 03/05/2007 22:03

If we had a ds3 we'd name him Sonny (DP doesn't know about this yet )
