raisingkidsler

that sounds like a scary film

3andnomore · 15/09/2007 19:54

Oh, tis just because, well, the name Ellis is relatively rare, I think
What I meant was are you also frequenting the raising kids forum That sounds less scary I hope

Nbg · 15/09/2007 19:55

Am I frequenting another forum???

Good lord!!!
Wash your mouth out woman

In answer to your question though,

no

3andnomore · 15/09/2007 19:58

lol...must say, ever since I have found mumsnet, it's become my "Motherboard" lol...

mummydoc · 15/09/2007 20:00

have 2 dd's but if they had been boys were going to be Rupert Campbell and Lysander Frederick also possibles were Hector , Caspar and Stanley. I ahve triplet cousins who are called Rupert, Rufus and Reuben ( they are 40 now so there names were considered very uunusual back then). gald to see my boy choices have come up with other mumsnetters.

devonsmummy · 15/09/2007 20:01

Ds 10 months Devon Charles.

nbq - i've not heard of another Devon apart from Devon Malcolm the cricketer

Nbg · 15/09/2007 20:05

Hey a Devon

Never heard of that Cricketer and I'm suprised dh hasnt mentioned it as he's a big cricket fan.

devonsmummy · 15/09/2007 20:09

he's not current - quite an oldie I think.

Ellis was on my shortlist too!

If you go with Devon just be prepared for 'is that where he was conceived?' and 'what's the next one, Cornwall?'

Nbg · 15/09/2007 20:13

lol had them already.

Mil's comment was "I like Cornwall"

You could actaully see my sides splitting at that.

When I've mentioned Cole, I've had Miner, pit and other mining attachements.
Funny cos they never crossed my mind once.

devonsmummy · 15/09/2007 20:16

Cole, was also on the shortlist - the first thing that springs to mind is the little boy in The Sixth Sense.

DH has a friend who always calls ds Cornwall, I managed to grin 1st time but 10 months on I could kill him.

Nbg · 15/09/2007 20:18

lol

great minds ey

devonsmummy · 15/09/2007 20:19

what's your DD's name?

kittywits · 15/09/2007 20:19

My baby's called Ronnie

Nbg · 15/09/2007 20:20

Madison

kittywits · 15/09/2007 20:20

My older boys are Sam and Kai

devonsmummy · 15/09/2007 20:23

nbq - aww thought it was gonna be a name from my list but not.
Good luck with baby Devon/Cole

lisa34 · 15/09/2007 20:47

Daniel and christopher

smoggie · 15/09/2007 21:13

Alex & Oliver (Ollie) here.

Both sound cute in French!!!

Good luck with your decision - lots of lovely suggestions here.

coleyboy · 15/09/2007 21:16

Ds is Cole.

His room is the cole bunker
His sleeping bag is the cole sack
His baby car seat was the cole scuttle

There are endless possibilities ...
