Ds is Nicolas Paul, works in so many languages which was one of the reasons we chose the name.

I have a french surname by marriage but want to hang on to Scottish ancestry so my son is Cameron, with a very french cool surname. Although Cameron is quite popular now, second choice was Alex.

my nephew is half french but alwys lived in england. he's Remi. gets lots of appreciative comments as a name.

i absolutely adore the name alexander but my cousin is called that, so ds1 was noah alexander.. but then still being a shakespeare and a buffy fan and wanting a xander (!!) ds2 was lysander dylan (noticed a couple of dylans here!)
really like boys names like constantine, othello and bastien.. but dp refused all those!

Congrats ! My DS1 is James, not much cop in french I think. DS2 is Murray, imagine rolling your Rs round that.

And we needed the name to sound ok in Dutch and English. Good luck!
