I would be so worried. I hope you are all ok. I hope you manage to get a scan appointment asap.

geekgrrl · 23/03/2007 17:32

Megglevache, hope you've got somewhere with your GP. You must be worried out of your mind.

I thought you might be admitted meggie. Could dh stay with him?

Hope all goes well

VeniVidiVickiQV · 23/03/2007 19:03

Yes, they'll let you stay. It'll be a zed bed next to his bed/cot.

foxinsocks · 23/03/2007 19:04

good luck meggle

foxinsocks · 23/03/2007 19:05

if you can't manage it, you could stay until he fell asleep and then leave dh there.

shouldbedoingsomethingelse · 23/03/2007 19:06

hope all turns out well for you. Take Care.
My thoughts and best wishes are with you.

Your poor little boy. Sending all best wishes to you.

fibernie · 23/03/2007 19:12

I hope everything turns out ok for you. Little on is in the right place, they'll figure out what's going on.
Take care of yourself.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 23/03/2007 19:13

take snacks and drink for you though, just in case they arent hot on this. It does vary from hospital to hospital.

funnypeculiar · 23/03/2007 19:15

Good luck - hope all goes well

dinny · 23/03/2007 19:16

take ear plugs for both of you, if you can - had to stuff ds's ears with cotton wool when we were in hospital for him to get any sleep at all.

all the very best, Dinny xx

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 23/03/2007 19:17

I've posted on your ct thread meg.

Hope it goes OK. They won't ask you to leave him, they'll find you a put up bed. Take some snacks and drinks with you (for you) as VVVQ says in case he wants you to stay right with him all the time. Take an extra pillow for yourself too, they're generally like gold-dust.

Fingers crossed for you.

Nbg · 23/03/2007 19:20

Oh gosh MLV
I hope he's ok.

How old is ds?
They sometimes have fold up beds on the kids wards. I would hope they'd sort something for you with you being pg.
Maybe you could give them a call and tell them.

Nbg · 23/03/2007 19:20

Lots of things to do too. Like a book or mags for you and some things for ds.

ShowOfHands · 23/03/2007 19:21

Oh Meggle, only just seen this my lovely. You poor thing, am in tears for you.

I hope it helps to know that we're thinking of you and ds (and bump).

Take care of yourself and your wee boy. He'll think the hospital is a big adventure- take plenty of snacks and drinks.

xx

stleger · 23/03/2007 19:22

I hope it goes well for you and ds - my gp was great at one point getting a fast Xray on my dd2. The hanging roung for appointments is the pits. take care.

Marina · 23/03/2007 19:23

Meggle, have been out all day and am just sneaking a peek. Am keeping every digit crossed that you get to the bottom of this soon and it is nothing serious. Sending you lots of love and thoughts XXX

chipkid · 23/03/2007 19:24

You've probably already left, but if not, think about taking:

change for phone
phone numbers
dressing gown & slippers for you
lots of snacks / breakfast bars
squash
reading material
MP3 player
pillow (maternity pillow if you have one)
towels

DS2 was in hospital for a week before xmas, and it's hard work, but I'm sure this will get you the answers you need very quickly.

Best wishes. Will be thinking of you and your DS.

Twiga · 23/03/2007 20:18

Was just checking in again to see how things were - you and your family have been on my mind all day. Hope tonight isn't too stressful, your GP sounds fab. Your ds sounds like a lovely wee boy, wanting to look after his mummmy - bless! Hoping you get all the answers quickly - take care x
