my dd 2.6 was punched deliberately by another child. my dh witnessed this and told the other child off for hitting our daughter. Next thing i know childs mum is shouting at me and dh for telling her child off and saying that we had ruined his day. She was not supervising her child at the time and did not see what happened. We were at an indoor play area, full of other children when she approached me and dh.

i go to one of these soft play areas every week where i live- its ace!
i ususally know where my child is when she is playing cos i can see her most of the time, however mt dd has hit/pushed other children and been told off by other parents for it - i am ok with that (as long as there isnt too much shouting and definitely no hitting) i also will tell other peoples children off (no shouting/hitting from me)
but there are some parents whos children can do no wrong!
i watched a child try to take a toy from my niece - when i told her that wasnt nice (she had thrown all the others out of the play area and now wanted to so the same with the one my niece was playing with) and she couoldnt have that one i watched her deliberately do a roly poly and kick my niece in the face - i told her off and went to see her mum - who told me that she must have been provoked - i later watched her hit another child - no supervision!

Well i hate soft play places. We took dd to a really quiet one!!!! DD was playing quite the thing in comes another child mum takes of child shoes lifts her over the gate thing girl does not go and play with any toys just runs straight to dd rips her off the see-saw thing with her hair and jumps on it herself the mother done NOTHING however i was straight in their grabbed dd and told the child off causing a big arguments but hey not everyone parents the same way as me and i tell you if that was my dd i would be so i would drag her out the place
