I have a VERY unusual name. In fact its so unusual that if I told you and you googled it the only thing that would come up would be my Facebook profile (I tried it......so as I may need to post incognito one day I can't tell you.

Anyway despite not being paricularly thrilled with my name when I was a teenager, I love it now and would love to name forthcoming DC's with something unusual.

What are the most unusual names you have heard of for both sexes???

Atticus - my DS named after the character in To Kill a Mockingbird. Mind you I wasn't impressed to hear recently that it's the name of one of the Arsenal players sons (sorry, not a footy fan- can't remember which player !) but never mind.

Generally get really positive responses from people, worst you tend to get is a completely blank look

I once met a guy called Tray Witty.

I work with another guy called Clay, but he tells me this is quite a common name in the US.

See I like Cobweb - very Midsummer Night's dream (the other fairies were Mustardseed, and erm - you'll have to help me - Peaseblossom?)

Did Cobweb have any siblings?

Moth was the other.

But surely, given the choice, you'd choose Peaseblossom over Cobweb!!

Read on a midwives' forum: a woman called Baby, which obviously caused a lot of confusion with her and her baby's hospital notes!

There is a Worzel near where I live. I thought it was just a nickname once til I heard him being called for at the Drs surgery.

Also have a nephew at school with a Spirit May and a Carlhoun.
