We need a girl's name beginning with D ...

because our names begin with A and B - and then entirely unintentionally, we called DS a name beginning with C.

Front runners are Dorothy and Dorothea at the moment.

What do you think?

Wow. Some great suggestions - and loads we haven't thought of. I really like Dulcie and Dahlia.

Hello, Littlemy. how are you doing?

I didn't realise that Dora could be short for Dorothea.

Dorothy was THE top girls' name 1908 - 1912 and then again 1926 - 1930.

DH's paternal grandmother was called Dorothy. I asked him what sort of person Dorothy (surname) would be. He said, 'She'll smoke 60 a day and never learn to drive'

So maybe Dorothea would be better ...
