because our names begin with A and B - and then entirely unintentionally, we called DS a name beginning with C.

Front runners are Dorothy and Dorothea at the moment.

What do you think?

Davina- my sister is called davina and I was always wishing I had been born first so I could have got a cool name like that!

I also like Daisy but it kind of reminds me of that chubby lady married to Onslo in Keeping up Appearences!

'D' names are actually really nice for girls. I hadn't realised until I read this thread. I love the name Dorothy, by the way.

My DD1 is called Danica and i absolutely love it!!

See I knew it no one has suggested Deirdre!! My name! hated it as a child & adult now just Dee, but when I am acting grown up do the Deirdre think again
