Aubree or Kaydence?

i do prefer modern names, the old fashioned lily, Olivia, etc isn’t really my style. My husband likes aubree which I think is adorable but I think it’s becoming a lot more commonly used now and I like Kaydence because I think it’s more unusual. Neither are that common in England but that dosent bother me. Which one? Middle name will be Skye

Personally, I really like Skye - would you consider that for the first name and maybe Aubrey as a middle name? (Unless that would make the initials spell something odd!)

For Aubrey, I think the -ey ending is less likely to 'date' and can be pronounced exactly the same as -ee while looking better when written down (which does matter for, eg, job applications).

I'm not a fan of Kaydence, it feels like that spelling would lead to (unfair) assumptions being made about her. Cadence (alternative spelling) just doesn't click for me but I can't put my finger on why.

Ultimately, though, go with what you and your husband love. Unless it's offensive or a disease, of course! (Neither of which apply to the names here, I think, so you should be safe)
