Love Castiel, so Castiel and Quinn.

Okurrrrrrrr · 14/08/2019 19:01

Ignatius sounds like a dinosaur. - helpful.
I prefer Quinn and Castiel

Aquamarine1029 · 14/08/2019 19:05

Icarus and Ignatius - No

I love Quinn. Castiel sounds like dish soap.

AdaColeman · 14/08/2019 19:05

How about Castor & Pollux?

FatTwat69 · 14/08/2019 19:08

Hmm I’m sure P(B)ollux wouldn’t get bullied a school much Hmm

Pollux Grin Grin I love Mumsnet.

pepperpot99 · 14/08/2019 19:10

Nope, extremely pretentious and twattish. Soz.

ShirleyPhallus · 14/08/2019 19:10

Icarus and Ignacious?! Oh at least try better than that!

Scruffalicious · 14/08/2019 19:13

Quinn and Icarus?

DerbyRacer · 14/08/2019 19:14

I really like Quinn.

shushymcshush · 14/08/2019 19:16

Is this a wind up?

reginafelangee · 14/08/2019 19:16

Quinn is just about ok.

The rest are really dreadful. Sorry.

jollyhollyhocks · 14/08/2019 19:29

Absolutely. Feking. Dreadful.

AdaColeman · 14/08/2019 19:33

I don't know why you are all having a pop at Castor & Pollux, they are classic names for twin boys, and have stood the test of time, unlike Castiel which will date extremely rapidly..

percheron67 · 14/08/2019 19:35

Castiel looks as if someone tried to spell castle and failed.

Summerunderway · 14/08/2019 19:36

What about Alan and Dave?

Krisskrosskiss · 14/08/2019 19:39

I'd have to go with Quinn and Castiel because I think Icarus and Ignatius are too similar.. they are already twins dont also saddle them with matching names! They wont thank you for it.
I love the name Castiel.
Another thought i would have is that Quinn is quite a popular name at the moment but Castiel is more unusual... I know two baby Quinns one girl and one boy! Dont know any castles. So that might cause some issues if its twins because one might resent the other for having a rarer more special name or vice versa.. one might be upset that they get an unusual name tnat gets raised eyebrows and the other got a name everyone accepts just fine.

Krisskrosskiss · 14/08/2019 19:40

Lol Castiel not castle.. damn autocorrect.. perhaps another consideration lol!?

Bookworm4 · 14/08/2019 19:41

Deary me, nope and nope

ShowOfHands · 14/08/2019 19:41

Castiel is an angel. He's God's holy tax accountant.

Quinn is way too close to quim.

Go for Castor and Pollux. Or Patroclus and Achilles.

IlluminatiParty · 14/08/2019 19:43

Icky would be the probable nickname for Icarus. I don't think they're sensible names.

Wellmet · 14/08/2019 19:46

They will actually have to use these names. Every day. All their lives. Think about that when you are choosing them.

Krisskrosskiss · 14/08/2019 19:47

I've always loved the name Orpheus but got laughed at when I suggested it for my son... so I'm going to suggest that.. you clearly have an appetite for 'out there but also sort of classic' names so I hope you can use it! I also love Leander.
So my vote is Orpheus and Leander.

Frith2013 · 14/08/2019 19:47

Quinn and Castiel.

Or they could have the same names as my dad’s friends - Casper and Casperian!!
