Cool Scottish boys name

I heard a name when I was pregnant but didn't use it. My friend has similar taste in names and is pregnant now and I'm trying to remember this name to suggest!

It's not Dexter. It's not Alaisdair or Hamish. It's not Ruaridh. But it's along those lines I think. Can anyone think of any of those types of names and see can I ring a bell?!

Angus was the first name that sprung to my mind.

Still can't find it 🤨 there is a possibility it ends in a double ee sound, or ends in y as that is the same sound as my surname so may has also put me off it. So like Ruari. But that's not the name. I'm getting nowhere and have read through two really long Scottish boys names list in the last few days.
