I heard a name when I was pregnant but didn't use it. My friend has similar taste in names and is pregnant now and I'm trying to remember this name to suggest!

It's not Dexter. It's not Alaisdair or Hamish. It's not Ruaridh. But it's along those lines I think. Can anyone think of any of those types of names and see can I ring a bell?!

I quite like the name Hamish. Unlike some other Scottish names, it is used more in Scotland than anywhere else in the UK.

I have never met anyone with the name.

UntilTheVeryEnd · 17/10/2018 09:21

Ramsay?

redhead82 · 17/10/2018 10:05

sureitsgrand · 17/10/2018 23:06

I'm 99% sure it was Scottish. It's not Fletcher but it's not unlike that style?!

I hope I didn't imagine it!! Wtf was it....

If its possibly Irish (1 per cent chance) - could it be Declan?

PinkCalluna · 17/10/2018 23:16

Are you sure it wasn’t Hector given your Dexter connection?

Ranald. I read it in a book. It's Norman but a Scottish guy was called this and it sounded pretty cool.

bluetrampolines · 17/10/2018 23:37

Please rem ember it!
