An actor called Crispin Clover/Glover(?) played "creepy thin man" in Charlie's Angels (the Drew Barrymore film version).

Littlejayx · 22/08/2018 20:53

A small crisp

TheChippendenSpook · 22/08/2018 20:53

It makes me think of crisp N dry.

Littlejayx · 22/08/2018 20:53

Or a brand of crisps. (Sorry I’m on a diet and constantly hungry )

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 22/08/2018 20:54

I went to a private school so knew a few Crispins...they were all posh, floppy haired, bright and nice enough but a bit wet.

TillyTheTiger · 22/08/2018 20:54

Henry V and the battle of Agincourt

Needsleepneedsleep · 22/08/2018 20:54

A really creepy hairdresser I once knew who mentally fucked me up for months.

secretnutter · 22/08/2018 20:55

I love it! I had a pony called Crispin 🐴 so I have very fond thoughts when thinking of the name!!!

LethalLola · 22/08/2018 20:55

Crispin Blunt Hmm

chronicallyawesome · 22/08/2018 20:56

I think it's quite posh - of the Rees-Mogg school of naming children. But everyone will have views that are different, if you love it go for it

ExpectingToFly · 22/08/2018 20:58

Posh twat Grin

AsMuchUseAsAMarzipanDildo · 22/08/2018 20:59

mostimproved · 22/08/2018 21:02

Crispin Bonham-Carter who plays Bingley in the BBC Pride & Prejudice - love him!

MysweetAudrina · 22/08/2018 21:02

Every day's a fry when you fry with Crispin dry.

GrannyHaddock · 22/08/2018 21:02

Quentin Crisp.

PlateOfBiscuits · 22/08/2018 21:02

@Needsleepneedsleep I’m assuming it wasn’t a terrible haircut that did it?!

MrsSquiggler · 22/08/2018 21:02

Crispr, the gene editing technique

Sunflower321 · 22/08/2018 21:03

Crispin Bonham-Carter! Love him.

museumum · 22/08/2018 21:05

Too posh for me I’m afraid. It’s nice enough and you’d fit in at public school but might make it tough to work in a more working class environment even as a student. I’d class it with tarquin.

ScreamingValenta · 22/08/2018 21:05

I like it. It suggests a person who is organised and authoritative.

SuperstarDJ · 22/08/2018 21:06

It’s a name that really gives me the heebie jeebies for some reason. I’d imagine any Crispin to be really sleazy, slimy and lispy. It’s strange as names don’t normally give me such a strong negative reaction!
