Marty's dad in Back to the Future! Love George McFly but definitely not the name Crispin!

GoJohnnyGoGoGoGo · 22/08/2018 21:51

I was going to say Kula Shaker singer. I thought he was Mills too, weird. Is he really a big racist?

FlashdanceFox · 22/08/2018 21:57

Dry Sorry!

Youvegotafriendinme · 22/08/2018 22:10

Reminds me of crisps, sorry OP

Bella898 · 22/08/2018 22:12

a brand name for some type of crispy food

Onthebrink87 · 22/08/2018 22:12

Cheap cooking oil or an old box in the back of a freezer that looks like it should go with chips but no one in the house know where they came from or even likes.

Genuinely never heard the name until now and i kind of wish I hadn't Blush

NotAnotherHeffalump · 22/08/2018 22:12

Pancakes

BurtTyrannosaurusMacklin · 22/08/2018 22:13

My brain really focuses on the “crisp” bit and can’t really get past it, so I can’t cope with it as a name!

hmcAsWas · 22/08/2018 22:14

I find it a little Hyacinth Bouquet - aspirational (so not actually posh but wanted to be regarded as such)

thismeansnothing · 22/08/2018 22:18

"deep and crisp and even"

Crisp n dry

Crispy pancakes

Sorry I don't like it. But that doesn't matter if you love it go for it

buttercup54321 · 22/08/2018 22:18

a crisp.

bobstersmum · 22/08/2018 22:19

Breakfast cereal for some reason!

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 22/08/2018 22:21

To me Crispin is posh, a bit wet and possibly even a bit creepy. He also gets his head flushed down the toilet by the rugby team.

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2018 22:21

Crisps and crackers.

I don't like it at all.

ViserionTheDragon · 22/08/2018 22:22

YY to Crispin Bonham-Carter and the singer from Kyla Shaker. I would assume he's been to boarding school, nothing that there's anything wrong with that Wink

User878929333 · 22/08/2018 22:22

It’s a public school boy name. If you’re not in that circle it’ll come across as a bit try hard, sorry.

I have a Crispin as a cousin and yes, at the age of 50 (him) I still think of crisps, deep fat frying and cruchy (deep and crisp and even) snow every time I hear it...

SleepWarrior · 22/08/2018 22:25

Old Crispin from Bill the Minder. Not a good association I'm afraid OP so I'm not a fan. There's nothing actually wrong with it though, it's a perfectly reasonable name.

AliBongoBoo · 22/08/2018 22:27

The b***d that ghosted me recently on an online dating site... Sorry! 😂

BeUpStanding · 22/08/2018 22:28

Vulgarlady · 22/08/2018 22:29

Oh god it’s awful, please don’t do this to your lovely child.

PlatypusPie · 22/08/2018 22:30

backstreetboysareback · 22/08/2018 22:32

Sorry just being honest

Greeneyedgeek83 · 22/08/2018 22:34
