I met a lovely little boy and his mum in the US, he was about 5 and was called Caspian.

Maybe a Narnia fan?

The Maharani of jaipur (well known Indian socialite between the wars) was called Gayatri.

I knew a Zhazawanie. Young girl named after a character off Rikki Lake. She would be in her 20s now.

My friend at school had a nephew called Caspian.

My son's name is Taliesin - a very old Welsh name that means 'radiant brow'. I love the name and it really suits him but I worry he will have to spend most of his life spelling it out.

I knew of a medical student about 10 years ago called Destiny. I can't remember whether my friend said he was good looking or not. Hope he didn't go into any branch of medicine that involves telling patients their likely life expectancy...

CoteDAzur · 28/01/2013 20:03

At least his name will be familiar to Deep Purple fans. One of their albums was "Book of Taliesyn".
