I met a lovely little boy and his mum in the US, he was about 5 and was called Caspian.

Maybe a Narnia fan?

I knew a Shoshana too (biblical name).

And a Donelle.

I worked with a woman called Daksha Mistery which is fairly glam.

I keep thinking of some more. My DM has a cousin named Venice, never met another and an old lady used to live opposite called Cecilly and whilst there are others, I've never actually met one Smile

I knew a Gervaise. He lived in a really posh village, when I went to his house I was expecting one of the ENOURMOUS houses and dead poshness. Nah, seme detached chalet bungalow. Lol.

I was looking at a planet poster yesterday and there are some cool names for some of the moons. I am sure many of these could be and are names:

Deimos
Phobos
Vallisto
Europa
Ganymede
Dione
Rhea (I know a Ria, and a Rhia)
Titan
Ariel
Miranda
Oberon
Titania
Umbriel
Triton
and also the dwarf planets Xena and Ceres
Pluto has a moon called Charon

The are others but these are the ones that are either from Greek names, or could potentially or are already names. Such as Miranda and Dione (or Dionne).

Has anyone else read through this thread wondering if their name will turn up? My name is a stupid made-up name and my sister's is one of a kind too. We were both really annoyed when my brother came along and got a really normal name!

I'm not wondering that at all. There were 5 of us in my school class and there were 5 at work, now there's only 3 out of 40 staff. My mum isn't very good at imagination Smile
