We are a bit stuck.

We did have a name but it's shortened version has put my right off.

The boy is due in 6 weeks and he is in danger of being a number. We both liked Remus but it just isn't a name i love. We like Wolf and tbh it is on the cards BUT we tend to have red headed childrena dn i just can't see a red head Wolf.

Octavius will be in there somewhere as he is dc8.

Cosmo is winning atm. What do you think?

I can't believe it has been that long Dizzy Sad Can't really blame him. Bloody awful and so scary.

After last year i never thought i would be able to again. Tbh the first 12 weeks were a nightmare and i am never doing it again. I just feel incredibly lucky to get this far. Although an moaning about being so big and uncomfortable Blush Tell me to shurrup.

Right the next person pregnant with twins on here we need to be all over them. A campaign for Herb and Bunty.

Lol don't be silly - you are WELL within your right to grump Smile The Medical team who dealt with me were excellent but the complications etc all left me with no choice. DH KNEW for a fact that I would never be strong enough to take their advice re not having anymore so marched himself off and got the Snip. A part of me hopes that it might not have worked but I'm an idiot and I was lucky and I am lucky with my 3 gorgeous DD. I refused to have any more testing (I didn't see the point) and with only a 50% pass rate (so to speak) I think the time for me to hang up my ovaries and get over it is now here [sigh] Heartbreaking as it is, I'm all done.

I'm on the campaign team though, Herb and Bunty MN Twins are absolutely required - wait till Lockets sees it, she'll be up for it too Wink

Augustus, with Gus for short. Brilliant name and would go with the others.

Augustus Octavius. Fabulous. Sounds like a gladiator.

largeginandtonic · 25/10/2011 16:07

Sad that that is it for you Dizzy. Definately the right decision though as hard as it is. I think my dh will have to do that after this one. I am now growing babies too big for my pelvis andhave crippling spd that get's worse with each pregnancy. Pants.

Katemorticain Augustus has been the tpoic of convo in this house this week, ds5 was invited to a party by an Augustus, known as Gus. My Grandad is also Gus. Dh mostly chuckled. I maintained it was an excellent name Grin

Righto Lockets too then. Herbert and Bunty the MN twins. It needs to be done.

I almost suggested Augustus! Then I thought: Augustus Octavius: no I don't think so!

largeginandtonic · 25/10/2011 16:27

Belgo your head must have slipped in to a sensible place for a few minutes. Come back to us Grin

belgo · 25/10/2011 16:30

ok Augustus Septimus Octavian

Is that better?

CaptainNancy · 25/10/2011 16:37

August Octavian (no gladiators necessary)

I like Clement too actually.

SecretSquirrel193 · 25/10/2011 16:41

Frank/Francis Octavius

BibiBelle · 25/10/2011 17:02

LG&T mine were mammoth to start with so goodness knows what I would have ended up with eventually Grin 10ln4, 11lb1 then 9lb14 so at least I had one under 10lber!! They've also finally identified my hip problem as being caused by a genetic condition that I've had since birth which has in turn caused my left hip to be arthritic and I'll need it replaced in the next 5yrs Hmm Seems mine should all have come out the sunroof in the first place!!

BibiBelle · 25/10/2011 17:08

Hi Lockets

Hurrah with the 3 baby naming heavyweights on the case there are sure to be a little Herb & Bunty soon!

Can you please back Atlas on this one too, am aware am pushing my luck now GrinWink

NotnOtter · 25/10/2011 17:37

Clarence?

PaigeThumbScrewTurner · 25/10/2011 18:20

I had a thread on here when DS was due last year - wanted to call him Wolfie.

Of course I was told I was completely, hormonally nuts. But DS now has middle name Wolfson and I will call him Wolfie as a nn as and when I choose - yes even in the park!

FWIW he also has a first name on the MN hate-list.

I like Otto, maybe as nn for Octavian.

BibiBelle · 25/10/2011 19:44

Paige you can't say that and then not tell us what it is!!!

Atlas
Atlas
Atlas
Did I mention Atlas??!

largeginandtonic · 26/10/2011 08:58

Bibi farcking hell love they are some BIG babies Grin I think you should have some kind of medal. Were they sunroof or vaginal? < wince > I have a growth scan at 37 weeks, am assuming he will be at least 9lb then. Am past caring tbh. As long as he comes out ok they can do what they want.

I am liking Wolfson A LOT Paige. I agree we need his name please.

Gentleotter Clement very nice. Dh had a cat called Cleo and says it is too similar. Dagnammit. I love the shortened Clemmmie, although prefer it for a girl.

Dh is a definate no for Augustus < sob > I will be forcing suggesting it for someone else though. Likewise for Aphra for a girl. It is such a gorgeous name. So i have Augustus, Aphra, Herbert and Bunty to push Grin

I had not considered Atlas. Will discuss with dh on his return from work. I really like it. Have you seen Kirstie Allsopp's names? Bay Atlas and Oscar Hercules. Fanbloodytastic.

Oooooh Atlas is in the running (hurrah!!)

DD1 was VB, DD2 was eventual EMCS and DD3 was elective. I had wanted to give DD3 a go but having buried my mum the day before I was emotionally exhausted and couldn''t face another failed trial of labour.

Let me know what DH thinks of Atlas - I think its FAB!
