We are a bit stuck.

We did have a name but it's shortened version has put my right off.

The boy is due in 6 weeks and he is in danger of being a number. We both liked Remus but it just isn't a name i love. We like Wolf and tbh it is on the cards BUT we tend to have red headed childrena dn i just can't see a red head Wolf.

Octavius will be in there somewhere as he is dc8.

Cosmo is winning atm. What do you think?

I like all the names you chosen. I love the fact you will have 8 kids and it sounds like hubby not there all the time! Obviously some of the time.....
I like Cosmo, personally.
No wonder you need a large Gin and Tonic.
I was having DS2 and my husband told me that somebody he knew had called their new son Wilbur. I love that, especially as they have flying connections. What about a Seafaring name? Horatio?
Suitably heroic!

ShowOfHands · 21/10/2011 20:51

Love Rafferty but then I seem to have a Raffy myself so it appeals. I want to SEE him too. And squish him.

Bobbie Shafto's a good seafaring name...

Clawdy · 21/10/2011 22:08

What are your other children's names?

largeginandtonic · 22/10/2011 11:34

Showy will list their names Smile

Dh likes Horatio. I think maybe a bit too similar to Hugo? He would call him Titus or Conan. He is more barking than me.

Thank you for the lovely comments. He is around now for the next couple of years. First time since we have been married he has seen an enire pregnancy! Lucky man Wink

I know a Horace, nickname AceSmile

BlowHole · 22/10/2011 11:41

I like Titus.
Atticus?
Don't like Wolf though.

josephinebonaparte · 22/10/2011 11:46

Atticus is my new favourite name

Mardymwahhaha · 22/10/2011 11:50

Has anyone said Otto?

Sorry but I would laugh at anyone who called their child Wolf. Don't be swayed by the MN goading. They want you to use it because they are not brave enough for a reason .

Cosmo is a lovely name.

belgo · 22/10/2011 11:58

I know an Otto, brother is called WolfSmile

NoHunIntended · 22/10/2011 12:00

Conan and Titus are fabulous.

belgo · 22/10/2011 12:12

Bruno?

muffinino82 · 22/10/2011 13:05

I like Octavius, Remus (fictional werewolf lol), Cosmo and Titus. A quick search throws up Vilkas (Lithuania).

Hector?
Taliesin? nn Tal

unhappysqueezer · 22/10/2011 15:36

I have a Hugo too.

Belgo we are on the same page. We almost named Rupert (the woofa) Otto so now, sadly, i associate it with a woofa name. Annoying.

Otto and Wolf sound fab together, i bet the boys are cool Smile

Bruno is fab but dh doesn't think so.

I can't believe there are Titus lovers out there! Dh likes is but not so much me. Tit for short. I can just see it in school...

Horatio fab but a bit too laughable considering his career Grin Shame though because we both like it. Horace is similar, maybe he would consider that. I am loving Ace for short.

Crikey naming is hard work.

wolf - go wolf! Tis fabulous especially with Octavious....Boys names are sooo difficult when you have more than four Wink

I have a friend who has stopped now but has all girls - she wanted a Wolf - do it for her!!

NotnOtter · 22/10/2011 20:48

It's particularly good for the youngest (presuming he will be?) kind of ironic!

LivingDead · 22/10/2011 21:33

I vote for Rufus, I know it's not in your list and the dog, but really the dog won't last forever (sorry). Rufus is a great name, Cassius, Cosmo and Wolf though, I fear will date him to this time of over poncey silly names Blush.

ShowOfHands · 22/10/2011 23:31

Sorry, sorry, rl getting in the way.

Ginny's brood is...

Jacob
Samuel
Seraphim (Phin)
Jonah
Hugo (Hugs)
Beau
Bluebell

And I love them all. The children that is, but their names are pretty fab too. They have some pretty fab middle names too but the best ones are Tabitha and Rafferty imho.

NoHunIntended · 22/10/2011 23:47

Well I really think you need an H name then, balance it all out. Horatio it is! Horatio Wolf.

Finnism · 23/10/2011 01:52

Hector

belgo · 23/10/2011 07:44

I also love Ludo (short for Ludovic); Victor and Vikus although perhaps Vikus is a bit girly in the UK?

We also considered Vladimir and Axel. I still like Axel, so glad we didn't go with Vladimir!

AAAvegetable · 23/10/2011 08:07

Bede
Eli or Elias

Although I think if I were going for DC8 it would be Octavian nn Otto.
