Crocheters what are you making? Im currently making a bobble hat for my 2 year old, might do a little matching shawl/scarf after.
I normally make amigurumi.

I have embarked on making the Nativity in amigurumi for my friend. It’s a running joke that she has wanted a Nativity scene for the many years I’ve known her 😁. Have
almost finished Mary and Joseph. Only 3 Wise Men, 3 Shepherds, Baby Jesus, Angel Gabriel, Star, Donkey, Sheep, and a Camel to go. I should’ve started last Christmas 🫣🤣.

Oh i have been wanting to make a nativity for years but i forget every year- till we get all the decorations out, i might actually start one this year thanks for the reminder 😂.

Not sure it’ll be worthy of photos.. I keep getting distracted by the telly. Mary’s head was assuming sausage proportions til I noticed 🤣. I’m making this one.

I’ve been enjoying a crochet subscription box recently, I’ve just had this months delivered which is a book sleeve, I think I’ll use it for my kindle. I just skip the ones that don’t interest me, I think next months is a zip pouch with pumpkins on.

I love the wool you’re using, so lovely and colourful. I’m not so good at amigurumi but my MIL enjoys it a lot!

That’s interesting, @PeanutCat1 . I love amigurumi because I haven’t got the patience to make big projects, although I’d love to! I’d really like to make a big cardigan/jumper. I’m also making a baby blanket but that’s just an Afghan which is at the limit for me size-wise 😋.

I’m stash-busting, and luckily have had EIGHT colleagues announce pregnancies in the last year, so I’ve been making baby blankets and matching hats. I’m really loving the challenge of figuring out colour combinations and patterns, and matching these to the individuals.

Oh that is so cute, i may have to buy this book, im sure my nan would love a nativity set too.
🤦🏻‍♀️ i have just started a new round and realised that where i was supposed to do 3dctog i have done 3 dc 😭 i refuse to restart the round 😂, im sure it won’t be noticed.
@NitchenNinja i learnt to crochet using YouTube, i bought a little kids crochet kit and couldn’t figure out how to read the pattern so watched some YouTube videos lol.
@PeanutCat1 what subscription is that? I find it hard to decide what i want to start making sometimes so a box that says “here make this” every now and then would be great.
@MakingTheEndsMeet wow thats alot of projects on the go at once, they are lovely though, i love crochet blankets for babies, i made my daughter one when i was pregnant but no way near as good as those lol.

Finished Christmas pudding hat for baby granddaughter and competing an in between project of a second attic 24s storyteller blanket as there was loads of spare yarn. I'm also knitting a big jumper project right now.

@Avie29 I’m always fluffing it up, but I just squish it about a bit or add a bit of embellishment. Works a treat. Sadly it doesn’t work for my face 😉.

Made a possum for my daughter the other day and a cactus. I have about 10 half done projects but I have the attention span of a gnat so need to have loads of things on the go so I can hop between them.

@Plumcorkyduff crisis averted the multiple colours hides it well 😂 oh yes i would love to be able to give my face a good squish and stretch and it work the same way 😂.
@InfoSecInTheCity they are very cute, i make loads of stuff for my kids, my son once drew a dinosaur and asked me to make it for him lol i will see if i can find a picture of the results, it looked so funny.

@PlumcorkyduffI made all of the figures from that book last year. I should really finish it and do the animals this year. I didn’t follow the colour scheme as I used up some old wool.

I’m currently making a cardigan, a crow and I have a request for a giraffe for part of a Christmas present.

@SilverShadowNight I’m impressed! I’d like to think I’ll manage a Wise Man, a Shepherd and hopefully the Baby Jesus. That might be my limit 😁.

Amigurumi is my favourite to make too apart from 2 baby blankets and this hat i have only made amigurmi.

Just putting the finishing touches on the Sirdar crochet along autumn blanket - it’s a labour of love with many new stitches but I’m nearly there!
