Crocheters what are you making? Im currently making a bobble hat for my 2 year old, might do a little matching shawl/scarf after.
I normally make amigurumi.

Before the Santa I did a granny go round cardigan and some socks

@Crazymadchickenlady is the santa pattern your own or did you buy it? Would love to try make one myself.

My daughter bought me the book Crochet Socks that Rock for Christmas (so I would make her a pair!!). I can definitely recommend the book.

We were walking round Sostrene Grene and saw the chocolate bar, think it was a keyring. Stupidly nanny said oh I could make that. Granddaughter said oh thanks nanny. Nanny bought a pattern from Etsy which was rubbish then worked out how to make it although looking at the photo I posted it seems I've cocked up one of the corners as they don't match. Guess what nanny is doing later.

I do that too 😂 the “i could make that” slips out and then your committed to making it for them or like my DD earlier today, comes in shows me a picture of some character and goes can you make me one? … err possibly, i will give it a go 😂.

I love those baby blankets. I have a friend who makes matching baby blanket and hat sets.
I like to have something on the go, usually a blanket but I fancy a smaller project. May I ask what size you make the baby blankets? I've made plenty of adult hats so a baby one should be easy enough.

I tend to aim for pram/stroller size, small enough to work up quickly, but big enough to be useful for as long as the baby uses a pram or stroller.

I'm making an octagon cardigan. Shaped like a hexicardi but it's made in one piece. The only sewing is a tiny bit up the sleeve!

I'm crocheting a little beanie for my friend's new baby - due next week. Really struggling to know if it's the correct size, don't want it too small, at least if it was too big it could be grown into. Does anyone know if you measure it flat or stretched a bit??

Measure it flat, so that it’s got the ability to stretch. Are you using a stretchy stitch?

I have two hexi cardis on the go. These are cropped and with three quarter sleeves (pic of last one I made). I ran out of yarn with both though so ones on hold the other I’ve just received the yarn. I really need to stick to my vow that I’ll only buy yarn when I know what project I’m going to use it for! But also it’s really hard to know how much yarn a new project will take!

My nativity book has arrived, and itching to get started, but im still making DD her little character she asked for- nearly there just arms and one antenna to make and sew on.

Oh no! I've had an email from Sirdar about a Harry Potter blanket CAL. I've given myself 100 lines. I must not sign up. I must not sign up. Well at least until I've seen the blanket 😁

Making some more of this fine fellow today, body and head are done now just to do tail, claws and legs
