Surely he doesn’t have the authority to demand that? He’s a government minister, he isn’t in the management chain of a charity. I hope they ignored him.

Even worse is that CHILDREN are even in these places - especially if they are unaccompanied - they are looked after children and should be under the care of children's services not in a detention centre

Just to make it clear, anniegun and I are not the same poster. However, I am inclined to agree with what she wrote. I'm sure Tories didn't always used to be quite that bad, well, not all of them anyway - but that was then, this is now.

I was disgusted with him back when allowed that Billionaire Tory Donor to avoid paying £££ to Tower Hamlets council because the Billionaire didn’t want the money to go to “Marxists”.

All this chat of “levelling up” and then lining the pockets of their rich mates at the expense of the most deprived.

It’s shocking he still kept a career after that.

This is especially cruel on the back of those missing children from one of those migrant hotels.
