Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from ApocalypseCheese, CheerfulYank, Anyfucker, HairExtensions, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Cheerful that is tough! Their website has all their exec's profiles but no contact - even their current job postings are not direct contact. Here's what I can get elsewhere:

Corporate
Address: 1630 Stewart ST, Santa Monica, CA 90404
Phone: (310) 828 4132

Development Services
1604 Cloverfield Blvd
Santa Monica, CA 90404
Phone: (310) 309-8400

Perhaps you could phone and request an email? Paper letter sent via registered mail might have more impact?

Only email addresses I can find are of no use to you - [email protected] for website terms of use or [email protected] for privacy policy.

Parent company (E1) is in UK, London based. Easier to contact too.

Now, there is also some stuff that may or not be accurate, is over a year old:

gomummygo · 18/06/2010 13:39

Oh, sorry so long, didn't realize until I posted it!

RooBear · 18/06/2010 13:44

hey everyone, need a strong cuppa, work are 're-organising' the structure of posts, but have reassured me that when I return from mat leave I will have a desk and computer, lovely, thanks for that

gomummygo · 18/06/2010 13:47

Ugh Roo, sorry to hear that, that is not exactly encouraging is it?

gomummygo · 18/06/2010 13:54

Hi mumofthree!

RooBear · 18/06/2010 13:57

thanks, I mean I'm grateful for my job but I'd like to know what I'm going to be doing!

gomummygo · 18/06/2010 14:05

No doubt! Especially hard to be leaving for mat leave, not like you'll have any control over what happens when you're gone. Not like you need to be worrying about what you'll return to either. Must be frustrating.

Tiredmumno1 · 18/06/2010 14:31

Hi loves- would love to join you for a drink but am watching the kids at my son's daycare (the carer left early with her family for a camping weekend) and it would probably not impress the parents overmuch if they came to p/u their LOs and found me tipsy

Busy morning-a friend of ours is deploying to Afghanistan this summer so we've been having their girls (6 and 4) over to play once a week to give him and his wife some time together. They're lovely girls but a bit...erm...sensitive, shall we say! And I was trying to make muffins for the bake sale benefitting our friend's unit (I'm anti-war but pro-friend, so there you have it)and burned half of them. Oh well, with enough glaze they'll be fine! And now I've got to watch the daycare for the next 4 hours, but the LOs are resting now, and there are only 4 of them (counting my DS) so it's pretty quiet. And...it's FRIIIDDDAAAY!

Stupid American question which could probably be solved by google but: Is it Father's Day on Sunday where you are too? Can't think what I'm going to get DH this year...

Thanks so much for the Summit info, gomummy! You rock my socks. I know that firing off an angry email isn't going to change anything, but it will make me feel better.

Have a lovely weekend, all!

teaandcakeplease · 18/06/2010 19:30

Well I've bought a fathers day card for this Sunday for my Dad in the UK, so I'm now hoping I'm not confused. As I know Mothers days are different UK to US usually

gomummygo · 18/06/2010 19:38

Hello everyone!

Tiredmum it is mostly feta cheese, spinach, onion, egg and garlic in pastry, lol! DS is spinach-obsessed and loves "cooking" it.

Mmmm...disaronno will be terrible with wine I know but irresistible....

Cheerful it's Father's Day here on Sunday too. Glad the info helped, and I can totally see how a scathing email would make you feel better...though a formal letter copied to all the right places can also have some real influence sometimes. Whatever you do, good luck!

Tea how is the potty training going these days?

teaandcakeplease · 18/06/2010 19:51

Well today she had a few accidents but most of the time she's doing good now

gomummygo · 18/06/2010 20:06

That's great Tea! We're hit and miss here but that's fine with me for now. I'm just pleased he's interested at all, tbh!
