Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from ApocalypseCheese, CheerfulYank, Anyfucker, HairExtensions, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Yes being a lone parent I can heartily agree that being at home with the DCs this Summer all day everyday has been hard. Thank the Lord Pre School has started again.

MIL incident is getting worse. Posted about it on prayer thread last night, as I need prayer but I gotta go and get ready for mums and tots this morning.

Later buddy benchers x

elmofan · 08/09/2010 17:44

Aww its lovely news tiredmum Smile

Hi gomummy , how are you ?

teaandcakeplease · 08/09/2010 17:51

Huge congrats Tiredmum Smile

Noah is breathing on his own now. However he is now on antibiotics, and nil by mouth as his digestion isn't doing very well again. Poor little man has been poked and prodded and x-rayed today.

He's not gaining any weight since he was born yet and has lost some, as he's struggling so much with digestion.

It will be quite some time until he is strong enough to go home at the moment.

No thanks necessary Tiredmum, so happy for you!!! :) Glad you're feeling ok. Hope your DH is taking good care of you irl.

March 12 YAY! We will have a countdown. Do you have a "feeling" as to whether baby is a boy or girl? Elmo shall we begin a list of name suggestions?

Tea I have finally caught up on the other thread, can't believe your MIL is being so insensitive and selfish. Actually, unfortunately I can, but am sorry that you are going through this, especially given how kind you've been to them since their son's actions. Glad your ex-H is being firm with her, even though it sounds like she isn't listening, at least he isn't on her bandwagon. Will be thinking of you at the weekend, hope things go smoothly and that you don't worry about it too much between now and then.

gomummy · 08/09/2010 18:04

I'm ok, thanks Elmo. :) How are things going on your end?

Tea that is great news that Noah is breathing on his own now, even though the digestion sounds like it's up and down. Must be v. hard on your DB/SIL knowing he'll be in hospital for quite a while.

elmofan · 08/09/2010 18:31

YY are you feeling Boy or Girl
Ohh now see thats a question i forgot to ask earlier Grin
I knew straight away on both my pregnancies but never had it confirmed as dh wanted their births to be a surprise .
Things still good my end gomummy . We have decided to stay put for another year or two so we are not under as much stress as before thankfully .
tea you are having a horrible time recently , little Noah is still in my thoughts & prayers x

Grin
gomummy · 08/09/2010 18:46

Elmo I had that feeling too, and was confirmed correct (though I guess I had a 50/50 chance anyway, lol!) Grin SO glad to hear thinggs are still good on your end. The stress is almost debilatating isn't it.

Can we underline on here? Want to make a title.

Have you got any themes = both my dc's names start with A & have 5 letters in their names .
I also know other parents that stick with the same amount of letters in their dc's names so will need this info before we start our list gomummy Grin

Grin @ Cheerful - "Bench Baby"
(oooh and good luck Cheerful!)

OK, if it were J's, DS knows a Jackson and a Jayson. Jake was on my short list when pregnant. Of the girl J's, DS knows a Jenica and Jenna. I also like Jasmine.
