Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from ApocalypseCheese, CheerfulYank, Anyfucker, HairExtensions, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

we are here if you need us tea,

will you be going to visit again soon.

hoping you have tried to calm down a bit, i know it must be hard. but keep your strength up.

i am so Sad for all of you

CheerfulYank · 01/09/2010 20:42

Aww, Tea darlin', how very very awful! Poor little one. I'm sure he's a survivor like his Auntie though. I will add him to our prayers tonight...DS especially loves to ask God to "care for teeny weeny babies" so we will be all over it! I hope you hear some good news soon.

Tiredmumno1 · 01/09/2010 21:15

Thats really nice cheerful Smile

hope you are good?

CheerfulYank · 01/09/2010 22:08

I am good tiredmum, and you? We're going to DS's preschool Open House tonight so he'll get to see his classroom and the other boys and girls and everything. I hate the thought of him being old enough for school but I am looking forward to having more of a routine again. I'll be back at work in a week...sigh! Oh well, we need the money and I need reasons not to laze around so much. :)

Tiredmumno1 · 01/09/2010 22:53

I bet he will love it cheerful, my eldest is back at school on friday, and my youngest starts reception on the 20th.

he is the youngest in the class, he looks so small compared to the others, but oh so cute Grin

i am ok, just a lil bit tired, and the boys wont go to sleep

teaandcakeplease · 02/09/2010 07:07

How sweet is your little man? How did the Open House go? Is he all excited about pre school?

I'm tired as both DCs woke early and I kept waking last night thinking about my nephew, so feeling bleurgh today. So I can't seem to retain anything I've read on here in the last few days but hello Smile

Aww Tea, that is quite heartbreaking to read. :( He is in our thoughts and prayers, as well as your bro/SIL, it must be so, so difficult for them. They are lucky to have you. DS was only 3 weeks early so I know very little about preemies - are they able to hold him at all? Poor little guy. Hope they've given the little fighter a strong name. On another note, your SIL must be v. upset about the possible issues related to the epileptic medication. :(

gomummy · 02/09/2010 13:41

Cheerful that is so sweet....

teaandcakeplease · 02/09/2010 15:20

No they haven't been able to hold him yet Sad

No name as yet, as he was such a surprise. Just a nick name.

OP posts:
gomummy · 02/09/2010 17:47

So sorry to hear that Tea, poor little guy. :( Will continue to keep him in our prayers. Hope his nickname is a strong one.

Thinking of you & your family.

teaandcakeplease · 02/09/2010 18:45

today was a better day for the little man

OP posts:
gomummy · 02/09/2010 21:11

Tea that's wonderful news! :) SO happy for them getting to hold him. And for him getting to be held. Great news on the breastmilk too, liquid gold for the little guy. Been thinking of you all day, thanks for sharing the good news! Will pray that he keeps coming along.

teaandcakeplease · 03/09/2010 19:26

He's not doing so well today Sad

OP posts:
Tiredmumno1 · 03/09/2010 20:21

Oh no tea, whats happening now, the poor little mite Sad

i thought he was picking up.

teaandcakeplease · 03/09/2010 20:27

Although he's breathing unassisted it's a lot more irregular than it has been. He's also not been digesting food well and the stuff that's come up from his stomach suggests his digestion is really dodgy so they have had to put another line in to give him glucose and stuff and have ceased feeding by mouth. Both Rich and Donna felt peaceful yesterday but it's very distressing having seen him open his eyes last night and seem so well and then today to see him back under the special lamp and with another line going in Sad

OP posts:
Tiredmumno1 · 03/09/2010 20:35

Oh tea, they must be devastated to see that. i am still praying that them doctors help him to recover from this.

i really feel so sad that we cant do anything to help.

if you do need anything just ask us,

will you be visiting on a daily basis now and do they have others there for them.

teaandcakeplease · 03/09/2010 20:42

Being a lone parent I can't easily go to hospital and into SCBU unless I ditch the DCs Grin But I am dropping meals and cakes outside their door to eat when they pop home to sleep, as SIL has been discharged now.

H lives 40 mins in the wrong direction to leave them with him easily.

OP posts:
Tiredmumno1 · 03/09/2010 20:50

Could he have the kids over the weekend for you.

and you are so lovely dropping things to their house, i bet they appreciate everything you are doing.

it will help them in the long run.

teaandcakeplease · 03/09/2010 20:57

He lives in a vacant house his parents are selling right now with one double bed, a sofa and tv. There's also building work in two rooms and the place is a real batchelor pad. Short of DD in his bed, travel cot and and him on sofa. I also suspect the DCs wouldn't sleep well and H would be up and down all night and I'd get a call at 3am to collect them. LOL Grin

This is why he's never had them over night since we separated.

He's just about to move into a house shared with other blokes where he only has a room. So he defo won't have them overnight then either. But I don't mind, as they're so little still. However I'm sure by the time they'll enjoy sleeping elsewhere and staying with daddy he'll have moved somewhere better and hopefully have a job too!

gomummy · 03/09/2010 21:14

Oh Tea, I'm so sorry to hear that your nephew is not doing so well today. What an emotional rollercoaster for your Bro/SIL. Poor little guy. Lots of good wishes coming his way, from all across the globe! Will continue to pray for him and your family.

Tiredmumno1 · 03/09/2010 21:26

Heres hoping that your ex sorts his situation soon, to give you a bit more of a break.

gomummy · 03/09/2010 21:32

Whenever you find your comp again, you've got mail! :)

Tiredmumno1 · 03/09/2010 21:46

Ooo i love reading your mails, they make me feel like i am not here for a few minutes,

if i dont get on it tonight, i will smack it on tomoz.

i bet you think i am terrible, its just i am knackered and cant be bothered to move. aint i lazy Grin

hope you are ok gomummy

gomummy · 03/09/2010 23:19

Not at all Tiredmum, I understand. :)

Migraine coming on, I am off to hide my head in my migracap. Could someone please polish the bench for me tonight?
