Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from ApocalypseCheese, CheerfulYank, Anyfucker, HairExtensions, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Watcha tea, sorry to say there is one thing more important, my family

they are running me ragged, dunno what i am gonna do over the hols, i will be havin a breakdown by the end

teaandcakeplease · 19/07/2010 22:28

I suppose I should be grateful that my two between them slept the day away really, it was almost only one awake at a time at certain points today! Busy time recently, so they were catching up today. In between it was Disney videos or playing with toys.

Good day

They are some good things for hols, are your old enough for these clubs and day arranged by surestart centres? I cannot remember their ages anymore

Tiredmumno1 · 19/07/2010 22:36

Lol yeah i will check if there is anything on actually. ta for reminding me.

i just hope they behave, or i can just dream bout them being angels for at least a day

when they are good, they are really good. when they are bad they are awful

gomummy · 19/07/2010 22:54

LOL Cheerful! I do that to my DH, he is easy to read though. DS requested an octopus....a 3 dimensional octopus that could stand up. OMG. I did it, but secretly was just a little bit upset that we had to cut it!

Welcome back Tiredmum! You were missed!

Sounds like a nice, much deserved relax day Tea!

CheerfulYank · 20/07/2010 01:42

Yes tea, sounds lovely! I used to be very anti-TV before I had DS and now I'm slightly ashamed at the number of DVDs he watches. But whatever, good enough is good enough isn't it? And it's sooooo nice when they sleep! I'm of your relaxed day!

Mine is the same tiredmum, great when he's good, and supremely naughty when he's naughty.

Am impressed with your octopus gomummy! It must have been adorable. My castle was cute in a garish, homemade, looks-like-a-cooking-class-project-made-by-9-year-olds kind of way, but it just was not the architectural wonder I'd envisioned!

Tiredmumno1 · 21/07/2010 13:58

Oh great now the stress starts lol

yes its the holidays

and we are already bored haha

teaandcakeplease · 21/07/2010 19:48

None of mine are in proper school and DD only did 2 mornings a week pre school so not much difference for me

Went to a gorgeous park in Bushey today with huge sandpit and paddling pool and fountains and took a picnic. Twas fab.

Would like to take the DCs to a beach one day this Summer if it's hot enough though.

My two have been on holidays since June 30Th & are already driving me mad lol. DD starts primary school in September & today we took her to get fitted for her uniform .......... couldn't help but well up She looked all grown up .

Tiredmumno1 · 21/07/2010 21:54

That sounds lovely tea, i was racking my brains, about where in bushey and i still cant think lol.

but it does sound lovely.

elmo i was the same with ds1 and i will be the same with ds2, he finished nursery today, so he also needs a uniform for sept, but he is the youngest in the class so is a bit smaller, heres hoping the uniform fits

teaandcakeplease · 21/07/2010 22:22

There are car parks off coldharbour lane and Chiltern Avenue. It's quite central to Bushey

OP posts:
teaandcakeplease · 21/07/2010 22:23

Tiredmumno1 · 21/07/2010 22:30

Oh now i know where you are talking about, its lovely there anyway, do you often go there? wish i could but i dont drive so its impossible

i used to love going to the lakes in stevenage when i was little, it had 3 paddling pools, not sure if its all still there now though.

teaandcakeplease · 21/07/2010 22:32

Awww we could've arranged to meet and let our kids splash about whilst we gossiped. Could've brought picnics

Go there quite a bit right now, as it's free and lovely.

Tiredmumno1 · 21/07/2010 22:57
