You do know mine,Elephants(well,I suppose it is possible it has passed you by,making you probably unique!!) Like I said - bad clues! I will recap from the beginning,as the clues are a bit out of order.
I am with him.We left our home,and met her.As they got to know each other,he kissed her,at which point I was cross and behaved badly.She couldn't understand me,because I speak a different language,but he can understand me.So then he persuaded her to come home with us - I don't want that so I tricked someone into shooting her - sadly she is not dead,and is now living with him,and the rest of them.I have no brothers,there are not as many of my kind as there used to be in this sceptical age - actually it is possible we are an entirely female race - can't remember!
(She has two brothers,if that's any help!)I'm not a lilliputan - but do have something in common with them...

Sorry for the length - I was trying very hard not to be too obvious,but may have gone a bit far..

I've never read anything by Tom Holt - I have stood and looked at them on the library shelves,but that's as far as I got .
Are they actually funny? I could do with reading something funny,TBH!

Yes, I just found this one at the library last week. I really enjoyed it - funny and imaginative. It's the first thing I've read by him but I'll definitely be looking out for more.

..She's not better looking than me, and she's rather large to boot. It's more that I'm pregnant and all my DH can think about is running after her!
