It always has
Knives, forks, spoons..... always

AI therefore BU to be irritated beyond belief that when DH unloads the sodding dishwasher that he cannot get it right? He always puts them in random places in our cutlery tray, but never knives, forks, spoons

I suspect he does it like this so that I stop asking him to do it, but we have been together for 15 years!

Knives, forks, spoons or AIBU?!!

Knotty... They look just like nut crackers!
I've got some of those.

WhoIsAsking · 20/01/2010 14:12

MumofOscar · 20/01/2010 14:13

WhoIsAsking · 20/01/2010 14:17

Finding this site was a big mistake

KnottyLocks, I am going to be skint. I will have to sell my house just to keep up in cutlery.

plus3 · 20/01/2010 14:18

not the fruit scoop that looks evil. My MIL has some lovely grapefruit spoons that I covet

WhoIsAsking · 20/01/2010 14:19

Butter warmers

notagrannyyet · 20/01/2010 14:21

KnottyLocks · 20/01/2010 14:21

plus3 · 20/01/2010 14:22

I have just inherited some truly beautiful ceramic/silver ancient coffee spoons. They are tiny and beautiful and I have loved them all my life.

KnottyLocks · 20/01/2010 14:26

BTW

knives, forks, spoons,
teaspoons below
kiddie spoons below that
miscell to the left

Second kitchen full of the other 'useful' bits

PrettyCandles · 20/01/2010 14:30

I want to know what RatherBeOnThePiste thinks "lattre bollocks" are! (No bollocks in my drawers.)

WhoIsAsking · 20/01/2010 14:31

Oh Knotty, I'm so glad your cutlery is in the correct order. It means I won't have to ignore you from now on.

My nan's got a spoon which she uses for sugar, but the "cradle" part of it is the...wrong way round, it's at a right angle to the stem IYKWIM, difficult to explain. And that is the end of the story about my nan's sugar spoon.

plus3 · 20/01/2010 14:33

well, correct would technically mean the forks are first...

notagrannyyet · 20/01/2010 14:34

Is it like a little laddle Whoisasking?

I've got one of those my gran used to use it for sprinkling sugar on strawberries.

WhoIsAsking · 20/01/2010 14:36

Ha ha ha Prettycandles! (I used to be tempted to slam the ex's bollocks in a drawer from time to time, maybe that's what she meant?)

plus3 · 20/01/2010 14:40

I think it is in reference to the beautiful expresso spoons

KnottyLocks · 20/01/2010 14:40

is the gadget you'd be wanting for that job, Who

KnottyLocks · 20/01/2010 14:42

Espresso far superiour to latte, Plus3. Keep 'em.
