ah, we used to go knives, forks, spoons...but when DCs were little they used to manhandle the knives so I changed it to spoons, knives, forks so that they couldn't reach the sharp stuff.

Never changed it back and have got used to it.

Couldn't have them all chucked in together though

Hmmm, have finally got round to reading this thread& have to say it's

Spoons, Forks, Knives, then little drawer has teaspoons...the wooden spoons go in a jug on the worktop & long knives go in the long knife section.

BUT return very happily from Italy with my very own Grape scissors Yayy.
Knotty - cant believe they dont use pizza scissors - I sadly checked out all homeware stores
But I did find for all non KFS converts Italy sells cutlery drawers that truly go SFK.. but then didnt they change sides in the war???
