It always has
Knives, forks, spoons..... always

AI therefore BU to be irritated beyond belief that when DH unloads the sodding dishwasher that he cannot get it right? He always puts them in random places in our cutlery tray, but never knives, forks, spoons

I suspect he does it like this so that I stop asking him to do it, but we have been together for 15 years!

Knives, forks, spoons or AIBU?!!

Fork, Knife, Spoon

Spoon, Fork, Knife

They don't do a Knife, Fork, Spoon.
Sorry, Piste.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/02/2010 08:34

who would want a t shirt with cutlery on ?!

That is a simple printing error anyway, no worries,

It still goes KFS

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/02/2010 08:38

All you people out there who belive that it goes anything other than

Knives
Forks
Spoons

I am exiling the whole lot of you to end this anarchy and nonsense.

Then I can have peace and quiet to enjoy my cutlery arrangements. No more loons

this is where you are all going

goodbye

that was almost surreal, Christiana.

morning Forkers!

SFK

(and you can't exile anyone until you post the 1000th post: whoever manages that not only gets the last word, but also lays down the law for drawer arrangements....)

majafa · 11/02/2010 11:34

Edward Cullen, Hmmm I wonder what his cutlery draw looks like?

If he was human, I bet it would be

Knifes
Forks
Spoons

nickelbabe · 11/02/2010 12:12

i'm pretty sure it would be

Spoons
Forks
Knives

though

cheap shot, really cheap shot.

SPL · 11/02/2010 12:30

Way to go before 1000 then - is anyone taking bets on this being achieved?

and also, for what it's worth:

Knives
Forks
Spoons
Metal skewers, can opener, mini fork things for sticking in the end of corn on cobs, small serrated knife

and then teaspoons in the the bottom bit

and finally - outside the plastic tray lies an assortment of big serving spoons and mismatched knives, forks and spoons (because I only let the "matching set" live in the proper sections.

nickelbabe · 11/02/2010 12:40

oh, SPL, you of little faith! we're over half way there already

SFK

Freezingmyarseoff · 11/02/2010 12:44

Couldn't quite manage to trawl through all 21 pages but this might help get towards the 1000 mark:

Small forks
Small knives
Big forks
Big knives
All other spoons in the remaining compartment (dessert, soup & serving)
Teaspoons in the front compartment

RockbirdandHerSpork · 11/02/2010 14:34

What knd of freaky cutlery drawer have you?? Five compartments left to right??

SFK x

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/02/2010 14:42

Rockbird - you and your fellow weirdies have been exiled - please refer to my earlier post

am exiling the whole lot of you to end this anarchy

KnottyLocks · 11/02/2010 14:55

Now, Piste...I do believe you are trying to banish fellows from a public forum.

nickelbabe · 11/02/2010 15:55

ooooh, FMAO: you have mega-large drawers!

oooooh.

MaMight · 11/02/2010 16:17

My cutlery organiser is too big for my cutlery drawer so I keep it in the other drawer with clingfilm, tinfoil, greaseproof and sandwich bags in it.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/02/2010 20:49

I am going away very soon, for one whole week and I need this sorted before I go, otherwise it will all be silly when I'm not here.....

and
some
loons
may
promote
the wrong
thing

Because as we should ALL realise by now it goes......

KFS

butadream · 12/02/2010 11:09

Will you have internet access, Piste?

KnottyLocks · 12/02/2010 13:38

Bless

DaisymooSteiner · 12/02/2010 13:38

This bloody thread!! I was quite happy with doing

forks, knives, spoons

Then and now I keep finding myself doing

knives, forks, spoons

and then finding things in the wrong slot and getting confused about what should be where. Humph.

snigger · 12/02/2010 13:39

I've come to this all too late, but may I advocate FKS - Forks Knives Spoons - alphabetical order?

nickelbabe · 12/02/2010 14:00

awww Knotty!

daisymoo go back to how you were: forks knives spoons is better than knives forks spoons!

you don't want to confuse yourself
