It always has
Knives, forks, spoons..... always

AI therefore BU to be irritated beyond belief that when DH unloads the sodding dishwasher that he cannot get it right? He always puts them in random places in our cutlery tray, but never knives, forks, spoons

I suspect he does it like this so that I stop asking him to do it, but we have been together for 15 years!

Knives, forks, spoons or AIBU?!!

Obviously a class act, Nickelbabe.

Now, have you seen these?

Not sure where to keep 'em though.

KnottyLocks · 08/02/2010 17:43

Where do you think he keeps his cutlery?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 08/02/2010 19:36

RockbirdandHerSpork · 10/02/2010 08:09

Oh don't be absurd. It's spoons, forks, knives. Anything else is plain silly. But thank you for bumping this. I would hate Piste to think she'd had the last word

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/02/2010 08:11

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/02/2010 08:30

RockbirdandHerSpork My dearest sporky - this is just for you!

for rockbird

I will have the last word, I will have the last word
I will have the last word, I will have the last word
I will have the last word, I will have the last word
I will have the last word, I will have the last word
I will have the last word, I will have the last word

Knives
Forks
Spoons

OP posts:
Umami · 10/02/2010 08:33

Ah, this had disappeared from my 'threads I'm on'. I missed you lot. Although I am the only weirdy who feels the forks and knives must be kept apart, like naughty schoolchildren, by the calm and ever-dependable spoons.

I will concede that in terms of which sounds more right when you say it, KFS is the way to go.

But my drawers are still FSK. So there.

Umami · 10/02/2010 08:37

More right? Of course, I meant righterer.

RockbirdandHerSpork · 10/02/2010 08:38

. WTF did you google to get that?? That is funny I'll give you that.

You're still deluded though.

nickelbabe · 10/02/2010 13:12

oooh

and this one can go:
spoon fork knife
fork knife spoon
knife spoons fork

but cannot go knife fork spoon.

QED.

nickelbabe · 10/02/2010 13:17

majafa · 10/02/2010 17:45

Ooooooh want a Led knife, fork and spoon....

majafa · 10/02/2010 17:52

OOOh and thanx for the hearts,

Certainly wont get any more this year

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/02/2010 18:09

Coooeeeeee RockbirdandHerSpork where are you?

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/02/2010 18:11

over here......
and bring anyone who thinks it is anything other than the natural order of

Knives
Forks
Spoons

OP posts:
butadream · 10/02/2010 18:21

It goes spoons forks knives with teaspoons underneath

because the cutlery divider goes short short long and the knives are long

but I would prefer to do forks knives spoons because that is how I lay the table, being right-handed.

RatherBeOnThePiste, are you left-handed?

RockbirdandHerSpork · 10/02/2010 22:35

Ooh ooh ooh I want an LED Kniforoon. I need a Kniforoon.

I'm left handed if it helps...
