Just seen a weather report where everyone is super excited about well above average temps.

Our local area water pressure has recently been turned down as a direct result of the drought.

Anyone else just so done with all this?

My kingdom for a cool night where I can sleep properly again!

It’s been FIVE MONTHS since I’ve been able to use a duvet.

Um I’m in London and it was down to 9 degrees this morning! Definitely duvet weather. Yes it was hot during the day but nothing an open window can’t cope with surely?

I loved the hot summer, I really did, but I’m ready for cardigans, scarves and fluffy slippers. It’s the unpredictability I’m not enjoying. Go to bed with socks on because I’m cold and wake sweating and wondering if the menopause started… nope, just mad weather.

I’d love a bit of warmth and sunshine - we haven’t seen either in Scotland.

Gorgeous day today. I love the warmer days it helps my osteoarthritis in my knees.

The water issues are primarily because we don't have enough reservoirs. It rains for 7-9 months a year with flash floods, we should not be having water shortages because there is no rain for three months. It's been raining for nearly two weeks on and off where I am and I know it will start properly in October and won't stop till May so a bit of warmer weather before the long slog is welcome.
It's about 12 degrees at night which would be plenty cool for most people with a window open.
Anyway, it's just a few days and winter is round the corner. I am not looking forward to winter bills...

Whereabouts are you OP, because I’m in the SE and while it was pretty warm this afternoon, my car said 8 degrees when I went to work this morning. Definitely duvet temperatures this morning!

Completely agree. I work as a gardener and my client's ground today is still baked hard. If we don't get a LOT of rain over the next six months, next summer won't be fun (in the SE at least)

As if it's too hot for a duvet! I have used mine for most of the summer too, only had a week or so with just a sheet, it was fine!

People on here are honestly such moaners - always got "headaches" and "feel so ill" over stuff like perfume or temps over 15 degrees, it's ridiculous!

Yes it’s warm, but it’s not hot like some of those days in the summer - we did have some unbearable days.

Agree, OP. Annoying days where you have to cart a giant jumper about as it was freezing on the way to the Tube, then once 10am hit, it was absolutely boiling.
