Just seen a weather report where everyone is super excited about well above average temps.

Our local area water pressure has recently been turned down as a direct result of the drought.

Anyone else just so done with all this?

My kingdom for a cool night where I can sleep properly again!

It’s been FIVE MONTHS since I’ve been able to use a duvet.

Don't worry miserable warm weather haters winter will be here soon enough then you can all get your heated throws out and drink hot chocolate until your hearts are content.

I really suffer in the heat but im finding it much cooler in the morning and evenings, even in London. Loving it at the moment. The daytime temp was pleasant but definitely not too hot.

Night time temperatures are dropping. We've had a few nights of eight or nine degrees. Duvet weather if you sleep with a window open.

Don't be in such a rush for cold weather, have you see the price of gas?

I'm using the late warmth to sort the lawns, dig over the veggie bed, get some autumn planting done. I'm still picking tomatoes, cucumbers & courgettes. I love it like this. 😊

I think it's lovely here at the moment in West London. Around 21/22 degrees in the daytime, and dropping to around 13 degrees at night. Not too hot in the daytime and cool enough at night for a duvet. I was absolutely sick of the boiling hot weather. It was making me (and my cat) feel really ill. And I'm loving the fact that it's not getting light at stupid o'clock in the morning now. I'd had enough of being woken up at 4.45 am by blazing sunshine.

Stupidly warm today, already 17 degrees at 7am. Fuck this.

It’s really nice here but also not that hot, especially at night. Definitely need a duvet.

I am LOVING this last hurrah of summer. Long may it continue. We had a few days of ‘living in a cloud’ weather last week and I hated it.

I hope it stays like this long into October. Sunny skies, what’s not to love.

Love this weather. Pleasantly warm in the day and cooler at night. Hate the cold weather and the huge energy bills that come with it.

Indeed. If you still think it’s too hot for a duvet now you have obvious medical issues rather than blaming the weather.

We’ve had lots of mild and sunny September days here in Edinburgh actually!

The lovely weather we are having at the moment on the south coast is looking good for the rest of the week. Yesterday, I was down at the beach and today I am back down there again. I share a beach hut and it was glorious looking out at the beautiful calm sea with the sun sparkling on it.

I hated the horrible hot weather we had, my skin felt clammy all the time so the current temperature is just right.

I'd love it to continue into early October, if nothing else, it saves having the heating on, so that's a big bonus and I can still dry washing outside instead of decorating the house with wet clothes on the clothes horse.

YANBU! Just give me a one cold day. I want to get my jumpers and coats out

It's thick fog and drizzle here today so I assumed this thread was for the damp, grey weather to get in the bin. It's miserable! Surely everyone isn't desperate for this?

Yep. Yesterday I left the house in 10 degrees so wore jeans and a t shirt then was sweating buckets by the time I arrived for the school run and it was 25 degrees. I have had ENOUGH. I want to be cold and wear jumpers.

Me too! I want to pack my summer clothes away now, and be able to pull on a jumper or even a sweatshirt knowing I won’t be boiling hot the moment I set foot inside a shop or cafe.

I miss the beautiful hot sunny weather. It was supposed to be nice in Cornwall this week but it’s pretty drizzly and grey. I loved the heatwave summer. (Sorry!)

Same here. Typical September weather - warm days, chilly first thing and once the sun’s gone.

Exactly this. The winter will be wet and long when it descends. Top up that vitamin D while you can.

It’s pretty cold here each morning, my heating came on for a short time the other day! I am now using my summer weight duvet, a 4 tog, and last night thought it might be time for my winter one but then my feet got hot and I ended putting them outside the duvet so I don’t think its quite time yet!

Definitely a medical issue rather than a weather issue if you are still under a sheet anywhere in the UK
