Strong words but is is how I feel at this point in time. All of them make me feel physically sick. The latest example -

Higher than the majority- not higher than the number of people who voted for them.

Burham hasn't really done anything yet.

Maybe wait until at least the October budget.

But Labour have reduced immigration by about 20% per year. While under the Cons it was rising. (ref: ONS & HoC Library)

They just love spending other people's money. Take money off the workers and give it to those that don't. God forbid someone works hard and expects a completely different lifestyle to those that don't. Must even that out - make everyone about the same. Apart from the super rich.

Yes, employment barriers are affecting young people. People thrown on the trash heap after graduating. Counting themselves lucky if they manage to get a part time job in a cafe. Fake jobs advertised online which they're expected to spend time applying for. How soul destroying.

Government whinging on about the benefits bill yet laying out the proverbial red carpet for people from violent countries who are causing fear and perpetrating violence in once reasonable communities. Then covering up the attacks.

Allowing the economy to stagnate whilst sitting on North Sea Oil.

Constantly threatening us with a war against Russia. I think they'd have a bloody party if it did happen and our youngsters were sent to be blown up fight.

Benefits need reigning in - massively. Never mind scrapping the child benefit cap, scrap child benefit. Have better benefits for those that fall on hard times. But if you have children knowing full well that someone else is going to have to pay for them is so wrong.

See I agree this is where the Reform lot get quite muddled.

It's the right wing that has been invested over the years in importing cheap workers (or, at other times, outsourcing our goods and services and buying them back in for a discount). It was a conservative programme that brought in swathes of uneducated labourers in the 70s and 80s to fill our factories because those workers wouldn't unionize. That's the legacy we still see in places like Birmingham today. I'm not blaming the people - they were offered jobs and took them. But it absolutely was not a socialist programme, it was a capitalist one aimed at breaking the unions.

And if you ask the reform lot where they'd want to live, half of them love places like Dubai - where there is one of the highest immigration rates in the world! It makes. no. sense.

The only arguments that left wing governments ideologically want more immigration ends up descending into great replacement theory nonsense which no one other than the tin hat brigade wants.

It's been going on since the 60s. I'm more interested in patterns of behaviour throughout society not pissing about over statistics. The trajectory is always the same regardless of numbers. Reducing a few here and a few there makes no difference to the over all picture.

Low skilled immigrants are more likely to be compliant, not question things, put up with low wages and bad work environments and a lower expectation of standard of living. In other words, big business welcome them.

The calibre of politicians accross the board be it Labour, Tories or other parties is very poor. I have no confidence in any of the parties at the moment. The cabinet is abysmal - no talent, no business experience and very uninspiring. I have to turn the TV off when Rayner and Phillipson come on. Cringeworthy. Happy to. This kind of nonsense has been going on for years. Brexit escalated it, and that was an utter shitshow. Same people making the same noises now. Tedious.

The UK has public sector debt of 2,984 BILLION. (or 2.98 trillion).

That is 94% of GDP
We pay between 301 and 312 million A DAY in debt interest.

This is clearly unsustainable.

The welfare bill does need to be tackled ( amongst many other things). Apparently other countries do not have the problem with run away disability payments we do as they have a better way of assessing claimants to make sure those who really do need it, get it.
