To think my neighbour is selfish tw*t for lighting a fire

Ok so how many people, after receiving a government alert about wild fires asking them not to have fires in their garden, would then in fact go against that and light a big F off fire in their garden, well that would be my next door neighbour! We all live in close proximity in terraced houses and my neighbour thinks it’s a good idea to light a fire. The fact the fire is (for now) contained in a make shift fire pit makes no difference, I mean it’s twa**ish behaviour right?

Also low risk: using a washing machine, using a cooker in your kitchen, charging your phone or laptop, starting your car, using a vape...the list is endless. It is absolutely fine to safely and responsibly use garden BBQ.

Are you really that desperate to cook a burger outside? Whether you think it’s safe or not accidents happen and not everyone is that responsible. Other countries ban this sort of thing outright during wildfire season.

Oh Good Grief! It's not about being so desperate for a 'burger' (more like butterflied lamb leg here!) It's about not following nonsensical rules that are completely made up by some judgypants that doesn't have the intelligence to understand and interpret the rules and the reasons behind them and has set themselves up as self appointed, uneducated, judgemental Guardians of Garden BBQ Activity.

He is a twat. We went to a garden party yesterday, the fire pit we usually would have was filled with fake candle tealights instead. None of us would have dreamed of wanting flames with all the dry grass around.

You'd have to have been living on the moon not to know what the alert was about though even if you didn't get it.

Not true - this was an official BBQ set up and run by the local park we hired for the day. They were still happy to rent it to us despite the warning, so... Plus, it was a good few degrees cooler today anyway...
