DP sexual punishment or am I boring?

Long term DP relationship is good and we’re planning to buy a house together soon. He’s been away dog sitting for the last 2 weeks which has made me feel a bit distant from him and I’m not the best with messaging. But basically he came over yesterday after seeing me on Friday.

I was naked in a towel when he came as I was out the shower and he was on the bed wanting a cuddle which I wasn’t keen for (wanted to get dressed) he playfully pulled me onto him which was fine and we were laughing he was touching me but then my towel was slipping too much and he was getting a good look at my body but I felt self conscious so started to struggle he then grabbed under my legs so I panicked and twisted but the way he held me meant I had to twist so my bottom half went straight to his face!!! You can imagine my panic as was stark naked and I saw him get a good look.

I felt really embarrassed and upset especially because about a week or 2 ago a similar thing happened where I’d been without underwear under my dress (hot day) and all fine playing joking but then he ended up tipping me onto a chair and lifting my legs up so again when I panicked and tried to get free I twisted off the chair and ended up him holding me legs akimbo naked!! I had told
him I’m not ok with this.

so I said to him quite clearly do not do that again if you do then we’re done which I was a bit rash saying but I was upset and felt humiliated to be honest. I said I’m not cuddling you for the rest of the day (half joking but I didn’t want him to touch me) Well he then went into a bit of a strop with me and said I’d annoyed him. We had a nice day but he refused to cuddle or kiss me - he said as punishment for what I’d said, which I did want as I’ve hardly seen him and wanted to feel close.

when he went back to dog sitting he messaged saying how I’d turned him down and lost out today on sex as well. He’s meant to be coming back to mine today and I didn’t want it hanging over us so I said well I can make up for it. He said how? I was busy and don’t like sexting (didn’t have any ideas tbh!) so I tried to be vague sort of we’ll see.

he then said I would have to make up for what I’d done before he would come back! I said I hope you’re not being serious and he said deadly serious! I said well you’re not giving any ideas he then sent me a list of options including a video of how much I love him and saying sorry for being silly, various nudes, a voice note all the reasons I love him or the special option which was a video of me undressing! He said if I did that he’d come and sleep with me and be forgiven.

  1. he is well aware ive neves been comfortable sending nudes.
  2. I didn’t even want sex at that point.

I said im not comfortable doing that and he said what any of it? He said he just wanted a bit of fun and I said it’s not fun for me being pressured into doing things I don’t want to do. His last message was that he never pressured me.

situation now is neither of us have messaged each other. I’m worried am I boring and have I been unfair? Should I have tried to be a bit fun? But also I feel like the ‘punishment’ was options of further humiliation for me and I would not have enjoyed them I don’t like sending nudes certainly not videos I find it degrading.

Jesus just dump him. at best he is a whiney needy fucker. And that is at best.

Lsquiggles · 20/07/2026 14:56

He sounds disgusting and your relationship doesn't sound 'good'

LeahCariad · 20/07/2026 14:56

End it. And quickly. He's a creep.

MrsTerryPratchett · 20/07/2026 14:56

He wants to manhandle you, own you, tell you what to do, not listen to your needs and wants.

Has this come out of nowhere?

diabolicalbanana · 20/07/2026 14:57

Just to say as well I did apologise for saying what I’d said yesterday about an hour later in the car so it’s not like I hadn’t apologised but I did also say to him im allowed to have boundaries with my body and it’s not fair for him to then be upset with me about that but he claimed that it was me who’d twisted and put my vagina in his face but it was not intentional I panicked because his arms were hooked under my legs and I couldn’t escape and the towel was coming off

Dump him. He’s a pathetic childish sex pest. 🤮

Bonkers1966 · 20/07/2026 14:58

Unless you are in the middle of a psychotic break or something, you have very poor taste in men and exceptionally low standards. What the actual fuck did I just read?

diabolicalbanana · 20/07/2026 14:59

Yes it feels like a lack of respect for me and my feelings

HelenAnerley · 20/07/2026 14:59

Yeah. Really?

MegMortimer · 20/07/2026 14:59

For goodness sakes. Get rid of him and have a think about being on your own for a while. He sounds awful and you don't want him anywhere near you anyway.

AmyDudley · 20/07/2026 14:59

Run fast, run far.

Minasama · 20/07/2026 15:00

For me that kind of objectified sexual behaviour is major yuk and I wouldn’t see this man again. I need to feel revered and loved to feel sexy, not treated like a piece of meat and manipulated.

I would find sexy texts crass, crude and demeaning. I appreciate I may be old fashioned but I am just saying this to let you know that whatever you feel is valid and there are plenty of men who will treat you respectfully out there.
And this is still the beginning of your relationship, what on earth will he be like in a couple of years? He sounds kind of bestial.

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 20/07/2026 15:00

The whole thing sounds weird. If weird isn’t your thing then walk away.

4t4 · 20/07/2026 15:01

If this is real, you are too caught up in minutiae of these crazy conversations. The big picture is that he’s a rapey pervy pest. Get rid unless you want a lifetime of this. Do you?

Rosegard · 20/07/2026 15:01

He is a creep.
He has zero respect for you.
He is actually scary the way he man handles you and sounds like a petulant creep.

You would want to be completely out of your mind to move in with someone who repeatedly treats you with such disrespect.

He sounds abusive and a bit unhinged.
You have been warned.

I don't think you have any idea who he really is.

He does sound rapey, sexually abusive and into humiliation of you.

A royal creep.

YoullWorkitOut · 20/07/2026 15:02

He's testing your boundaries. Make it very clear that you don't like it, don't joke about it, don't apologise, tell him what will happen if he ever does something like that again (relationship will be over) and then follow through.

RealityChecksNeeded · 20/07/2026 15:03

Bin him!!!!!!

Stompythedinosaur · 20/07/2026 15:03

He sounds disgusting.

Is his cock made of gold or something that would warrant his belief that withholding it is a "punishment"?

Loving partners don't deliberately do sexual things that make their partner feel uncomfortable, and they would be apologetic if they did. The fact that he wants you to apologise and to punish you for having a boundary is a major red flag.

He sounds dangerous and unpleasant.

60degreecycle · 20/07/2026 15:03

Long term DP relationship is good

No, it really isn't.

Minasama · 20/07/2026 15:03

diabolicalbanana · 20/07/2026 14:59

Yes it feels like a lack of respect for me and my feelings

It IS a lack of respect for you and your feelings.

plsbekinddelicate · 20/07/2026 15:04

For goodness sakes do not let this “man” near you again. He is systematically trying to dismantle any boundary and make you feel you’re at fault while he does. Don’t invite him round, don’t phone him, this is the one time I’d end it by text message and tell him clearly he is not to contact you again.

Diamondsareforever72 · 20/07/2026 15:04

Get him to fuck.
Can you imagine his behaviour if you ever have a daughter??

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 20/07/2026 15:04

No. The 'I'm going to punish you until you bend over backwards to make it up to me' (it doesn't matter what the perceived 'offence' is meant to be) is ghastly. You apologised even though it was he who should have been seeking your forgiveness and now he thinks he can hold it over you to get what he wants.

No. Just no.

MrsTerryPratchett · 20/07/2026 15:04

Where is the house-buying deposit kept?

Elliania · 20/07/2026 15:04

Get rid. He did violated a boundary, made you feel panicked and uncomfortable then tried to gaslight you about it by saying "Well no it was actually your fault." He's not a good or safe person.
