I'm half Scottish (dad) so always support both. In the past I'd probably want Scotland to win if it was them against England to be honest. Although now because of the Argentina support I'm going off supporting Scotland.

It's all very childish. I couldn't imagine supporting anyone playing against Germany just because of the war. So I don't really get the childishness of supporting anyone against the English.

Falklands have been inhabited now for centuries and, ironically, if it weren't for Argentina they might well want to be just the Falklands. They are fully self governing already. But, given that if they weren't a British protectorate, Argentina would immediately invade them it seems very unfair for Argentina to be complaining that them remaining as a protectorate is imperialism. It's like Russia complaining about NATO stopping them invading who they want.

I feel the same about Germany, quite sad about Norway going out, Denmark didn't qualify and gutted about that as close family ties and friends in both cases. All of whom don't exude hate for England, why would they!
